What I have read...


- Do you pay for additional domains and storage? Do you pay for mysql, php, frontpage and stats? Do you or your sites pay because of lack of support? And you dont want to pay? I host my sites with PROHOSTERS because I don't want to pay extra, they have plans as low as 2 bucks a gig. How can you not make money at 2 bucks a gig? Fast ICQ support, and quick response times

If your planning on using a virtual account with them, it will soon kick ass.

They're setting it up in clusters so if one server goes down, your site doesnt.

Prohosters had some trouble, they were growing too fast. Everything seems to be fine now.

I wouldnt use any host that resorted to this kind of marketing practice.

Did I say that prohosters is a good or bad host?
Did I say that he/you should not host with them?
All I did was a search on this BBS and posted a few links to discussions about prohosers and then wrote that he can contact us for web hosting.
So what do you think I did that was bad/wrong?

We do have great support but we will not install your scripts for free. Installing scripts takes time and time is worth money. We will help you if you have any small configuration problems or an issue related to the server.

I like vector force. They're always on top of everything.

They charge a little bit more on hosting, 3.70 a gig I think, but they're servers are up 99.9 percent of the time, which certainly helps.

With any host there are going to be people who like them and people who dont. Just depends on the persons who is replying. Take everything into consideration especially when price. Cheapest is not always the best.
