That seems to be the name of the game these days, I am soooooooo sick of cleaning out my archives. These kind of people are going to force me into "not" taking free hosts, unless i know the submitter (which is "iffy" because a friend was redirecting also)
I blacklisted a guy who had many pages built up in my archives, then redirected them. He has the nerve to email me and complain he got blacklisted.

I think what TGP owners NEED is a program
that blacklists using SPONSOR CODES, so
we could plug in all thier sponsor codes
and if a page had one of those on them, it
would be blacklisted - would be a LOT harder
for them to sign up with thier sponsors under
a new name to be able to submit again.

And since he pissed me off a lot, I did a little search and found all his galleries he sent me (+ emails he is using)

He is also cheating some big names like Tommys Bookmark, Thumbzilla, etc.
You can check if your tgp is here, if you change 43.html to something else (from 01.html to 59.html) and the middle recip belongs to tgp he is trying to cheat. Other 2 recips are same on each gallery. After "middle" tgp list him he changes the gallery to pop up hell!

That same jerk off has been spamming my tgp for months. I finally just blacklisted that whole domain.

What I really hate...this morning, it took me 4 hours to weed thru all the crap galleries. 4 hours! I think it must be the same guy..going to free hosts and making a ton of bullshit pages..submitting them for dayz..then sitting back hoping a few of them get thru. Really burns me up..specially the ones with a million pop ups that nail you the second you open the page.

It's getting so that I'm having to blacklist at least 3 new url's a day now.

Pretty soon you guys wont have to worry about that at all. I am finishing off a project that I have been working on for a LONG time and will be releasing it soon. (I guess this aint spam since I'm not even selling it yet.)
It's it 2 programs that are integrated together.

1 A perl script that handles all the submissions and TGP stuff. (It has everything I could think of. One reason it's taking me so long to finish)

2 A robot program that runs on your windows 95+ computer that scans for consoles, redirects, onmouseovers, frames and tons of other stuff. You can check for all or just some.

The robot also tracks the thumbs and banners and even thier placement on the page to create a "rating"

The robot is integrated with the perl submission script so that you can check for consoles and other bullshit and delete it WITHOUT EVERY OPENING A BROWSER AND GETTING HIT WITH CONSOLES.

The robot though will ALSO read your tgp list right off your webpage no matter what script or method your using to generate it and scan them for consoles etc so cheaters will be busted IMMEDIATLY even if you don't want to use or have not yet installed my perl scritpt.

Both these programs do a bunch of other stuff to totally automate the process of running a TGP and I already have them working. However I have a few more features to add and it needs to be WAY more user friendly to both install and use before I can release it. I have to write docs for it also from scratch so it's gonna be a bit before I can finally release it.

It's coming soon though.

Well if I have 1000 submissions to go through and I ask my bot to download and process all 1000 (Or even just a couple hundred) it would slow my server to a crawl. (Maybe only for the 1/2 hour that it takes to check them but still. I can't have my precious server slowing down)

Also since I don't have to worry about slowing down my server at all I was able to check for anything and everything I could think of. (For instance analyzing not only how many banners there are but where they are placed (Before inbetween or after the thumbs)

Also. Maybe some people will want to use the robot to catch cheaters but don't want to use my submissions script. (Maybe they use a freehost or don't have perl. Or maybe they just have a system they are used to and don't want to change.)

This method of win95+ robot will allow the most people to use this WITHOUT sever lag.

Also win95+ much more easier to work with than a web interface.

galleries where a 404 was found when crawling
a link.

That would catch the fuckers that deletes the
big images and then have thier 404 redirect, this
is a bitch to check for, especially if you have archives.

Also a nice thing would be to have it somehow check
the thumbs and pictures JPG quality, or just the kb size
and have it report the one's that have changed in size,
this is also a known practice - send in a gallery with nice
quality pics - then after it is listed go in and compress the
shit out of the pics - very hard to check for constantly.

And the blacklisting via sponsor codes is a MUST, that would

I might put something like this in a later version. It would take some serious diskspace and would slow the bot WAY WAY down because it would have to download each pic from each gallery each time it's run. It's a good idea though and I have thought of that, not sure how useful it might be though since the bot would be WAY slower if run in this sort of mode. I might add it later though just because. I started to write something sort of like this that would check thumb size using height and width tags. The problem with that is that most people don't use them even though the page loads so much better if you do. This brought me to the thought of downloading each pic like your idea before and like I said I don't think I want it to do that in this version. Well I don't have blacklisting by sponser right now. BUT the BOT can catch them as is. The bot checks for certain things automatically like consoles frames etc etc and these can be turned on or off to be checked for or not to your specs. But there is also about 10 slots where you can check for any text you want. As long as I'm checking anyways right? http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

The thing is right now you can only check for 10 custom things. With your idea in mind I'm thinking maybe I should increase this. The thing is the more things you check for the slower the thing gets. (But then again it will only be your home computer that gets bogged down. You might run it while you eat lunch or something so I might increase the user defined "BAD HTML" to search for.

But either way if you are looking for a certain sponser link the bot will make them stick out like a sore thumb. You can scan through archive pages etc too. (It will read the pages right off the web and scan the galleries it finds.)

of items to check for would slow the bot
all that much - download the html, load the
html into a variable and compare it to
each item in your blacklist - also having
a 'generic' blacklist would make the bot
more flexible.

what I mean exactly about image/thumb size,
that script they have must save a ton of time.

I once had a gallery on easypic where the
pics was being hotlinked, I mailed and asked
if he could take it down so I could remove
the pics - he just told me to delete the
pics or thumbs, then the bot would kill my
gallery - that script makes me drool hehe...
