cheapest host for galleries

need a host for my galleries to tgp's..

so far i seen Bigfast.net

offering 2.50 a gig and 2.50 a month for each addtional domain.....


i'll be doing around 100k a day

i think that should come around 2 or 3 gigs a day..

was using directnics free hosting but i knew that wasn't gonna last long..

any suggestions?

http://www.sunhosting.com -- unlimited bandwidth for $600. I'm having a server setup there so I'll know how they do.
http://www.rapidhosting.com -- havn't tried them.

The problem with "unlimited bandwidth" is that they usually run out of bandwidth pretty quickly then have to decide whether to buy more pipe or put in limiters. maxim.net went through that about a year ago, who knows how long these other guys will last?

I'm not compressing to the extreme,
( my pages are arround 80k total (thumbs + codes) and I keep my pictures from 25-50k...

I get from 60-100K uniques, which is from 90-130K hits...

I did an average of 8.8gig/day for my first few weeks...

10-11gigs on big days...
obviously not gonna get 2 gigs man...

I do 3 gigs with another 20K tgp submission... ;-0

even with good price bandwidth ($3/gig) that's $30 a day.. and say you make 1 signup a day (which was about the average from tgp traffic) that's not much of a profit.

I would give up the top banner spot for free bandwidth anyday

But it looks like on the spam board, you state that it is YOUR freehost. Looks like MrBrian is trying to scam more webmasters. I bet if you start getting a bunch of traffic with his server all of a sudden he will close your site. Be very careful!

2-3 gigs a day for tgp gallery posting with 100k?? Are you kidding??? My site fuckk.com is a tgp and gets 65k..no thumbs or full size pics and it does 5-6 gigs day easy!! Plan on at least 10 gigs a day..

I love how hosts lead you on with unlimited bandwidth but when you go over their unlimited amount you are shut down. I realize that bandwidth is a commodity and is not free, but to me unlimited me unlimited. Plain and simple.

Now that my bitching is over, once you find a host that offers unlimited bandwidth you had best keep it a secret because I doubt it will last long. I found a host that offers unlimited bandwidth, I pay $99/mo, yes, at times it is very slow, but I get all the banner spots. But look at some of the free hosts how fast do they load? How many free hosts are banned at tgps because the page loads too slow or they don't like the free hosts ads. So for $99mo, I get total control of the pages.

All free hosts aren't slow, there are some really good ones I've been using for awhile without any complaints and saves me a shitload of money

My personal favorite is smutserver.com, they are very TGP friendly and they make it a priority to meet the rules most common in tgp's.. one thing they don't have his ftp access however

I've been using this host for tgsw galleries; it's fast, has ftp access, not over used...pertty good.

I'm saying I convert a average of 30 signups a month, some day's I get 3 sign-ups others I get 0 so it all averages out..

Have you tried different gallery designs for you gallery posts? If your sign ups are as shitty as you say they are, why not try and test other layouts?

The way I see it, a tgp is a magazine and the gallery pages are full sized ads. Make your page stand out.

when I started, I was getting 1/50 with tim :-)

on 100K traffic... but I only pushed like 200 to angelteen
