I like it, seems to be working fine on my site. Its nice to have productivity tracking in a free script.
But there are many here I'm sure that don't like it because it is free.. but hey, most of them are only 19 year old kids anyway!

Yes i know that many here would not like it, but cheaters can always use tsp, eh? there will always be cheaters no matter what. Tell you what, if youre a cheater you cant download it. There now everyone should be happy.

This script work fine ... Somes bugs on 0.20 so 0.21 they are fixed ...
I suggest you to use it
This script is way cool. It took no more then 6 minutes to have it up and running on my NT 2000 box. It's already tracking hits. I'll see how it performs tonight if I have time.
The only thing I needed to have it running on NT was to put the full path on all the CGI files.
Example:
require "D:/inetpub/your_domain/cgi-bin/cjpro/configure.cgi";&configure;
require "D:/inetpub/your_domain/cgi-bin/cjproprinttop.cgi";

Reed icq me 4885653 i not have a nt box and wasnt sure it would work on one. icq me and ill fix so it will work on nt box without changing code.
Let's work it out here. Or email me at webmaster@thumbmarks.com
One small thing I noticed on NT. I setup 4 accounts and each time I do a forced update. One account adds 2 hits to the accounts Total IN. Two accounts add 1 hit and the 4rd account adds 0 hits to the Total IN. Is this a normal?

No definitely not normal. I have not seen it do that, but you are first to set it up on NT that I am aware of. Maybe some quirk on NT? Never had NT machine, so ive never coded perl for NT.

Ok Reed, I gave it some thought and maybe its just that its not resetting your data files after a force update because you are on a NT machine. When you do a force update the hitsin.dat and hitsout.dat files should be erased from datafiles directory. Is this what is happening on NT?
(I thought it might have problems on NT, I put in readme that it probably wont work on NT, but hey if you let me know whats happening I will make it work)
Yes that's it. hitsin.dat and hitsout.dat are not being deleted on the forced update. Then they are read and the hits are stacked up. If account [test1] sent in 20 hits then on each forced update 20 hits will be added to the totals of [test1].
Can you write some code to empty out the files instead of deleting them?

Yes I can change code to do that, I'm working on permlink ability, and other things to add, so I will email you when its done and you can try it on NT.
Thanks,
I'll be looking forward to your email.

Ya.. that was unfair of me to say that, because that is not always true... but I know now looking back 10 years to when I was 19, I thought I had a clue but I didn't.
It is just that I have noticed some here with attitudes that if you can't play with the big boys than you shouldn't play at all. I see witch hunts taking place.... name calling. Every single webmaster here has cheated at one time or another. Its just that at the time a certain practice was not yet considered cheating. Take java alerts.. right now they are not considered cheating but we all know that they can be used to keep other sites safely in the background while our pages load. Just a matter of time before those get added to the cheating list and webmasters that once used them now blacklist others for using them.

man, this is the cj industry... everyone's always complaining, no matter what... it's a fact, some will say it's true, some not...
I'll just say... true, true http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
and btw, age has nothing to do with things man.. .most of the really wealthy and successful people started at a young age..
just think of Karl Bernard... if I'm right, he was arround 19 when he started, or somewhere arround that... now he's making millions... http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
just my two cents...
you can have young assholes, and old assholes... only difference is the older's ass will be hairier...
GOD, how the hell did I come up with that http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif
LOL...

For a free script in beta version I am highly impressed. So far I like the way it works, it installed in like 5 minutes (fastest I have ever installed a script I think http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif ), and I have seen no bugs yet..

better grab a copy before he starts charging $2,000 for it http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah its cool . So he is getting 1 % of the traffic . If its started to be used he will get a lot of hits hehe http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yes I am getting 1% of the outclicks, that is posted on the script page. Don't you think productivity tracking will let you increase your trades by such a small amount? I think that if you want to use a free script anyway, the productivity tracking will increase your clicks by much more than 1%. I did not spend countless hours programming out of the goodness of my heart. lol. Maybe later I'll write something in C that doesnt take any of your clicks, but it won't be free.

I did not know productivity tracking was so important until I switched all my sites over to your script. I have seen dramatic results in only a few days of use.
You sir deserve a big thanks from all of us still in the learning process who can't afford $1200 for UCJ-4. I think replacing TSP with CJPRO as the default newbie script can only better the cj business in that there will fewer pissed off surfers that keep getting sent to the same site over and over because TSP can only send raw.
BTW... having a rotating main page feature link Blindio would be great. I would be happy to give up another 1% for that! :-)

Yeah man ! I asked my bro to do that so we don't really have the time now . So you think its possible to add it ? http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif)) That would be great .

Yes rotating mainpage could be coded in fairly easy. I have several improvements I plan to make, but not enough time to do them all just yet, but thanks for the new ideas. It is still beta version, so I wouldnt rely 100% on it for all my sites untill final version is ready in a few more months (lots of stuff I want to add), and I still dont even have any idea how much traffic it can handle without losing the database.
How many hits does it handle now without problems?

And what about CPU usage? TEX and R&B (perl) both was cut off at 22k+ at interaid.com ... using too much cpu.

To my knowlege, 12k/day is most traffic any site has had it up to so far, and nobody has told me they have had any problems. If you have pushed more than that through it post it here.
