Hi, I'm new to income tax. I didn't know about it until a week ago, and I'm already in debt, and have my sponsors bills coming in now to pay it.
Just wondering, since it is due on april 15th, what if you send it in like on the 20th. My next sponsor check isn't sent out till the 16th. What if I don't pay the taxes in whole. Am I screwed??? Do they just charge me more.
Any feedback would help.

Get a good accountant...takes all liability off of you...and it makes life a whole hell of a lot easier.

cyber-fantasy. What's the catch with being able to pay your taxes 4 months late. Is there a one time fee, or is there some kind of interest charged??? Anyways, I couldn't see the irs doing it to be nice.
Lynch, they ask interests for sure http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
And why don't you pay them in time?
If you get less from sponsors than what you have to pây in bills, you should change sales methods on your site http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Just my 2 cents

Spent all my money on bills, and advertising, etc. I'm expecting a good amount this month.
But all the money I've made, I've been blowing, and have a crappy job that doesn't pay me anything right now. Plus, I've been depositing money in and out of my bank account, so I have like 50,000 dollars in transactions. I honestly didn't even know about income taxes, this is my first year dealing with them. I just don't want the irs to take all my money. But 4 months from now I should have plenty. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
