Whats everyones take on sponsors using the auto homepage code?

I don't think its a good idea for anyone to use active x in this manner. Its one thing to
ask people to bookmark your page but to do it by force is another. I have hit one of
these pages myself, not only did it change my default home page but it also book marked
like 20 of their tour pages. Put yourself in their posistion, if I did that to you would
you want to join my paysite? I seriously doubt it.

Some ass that owns like 10 sites (non adult) got my browser.. must have been my girly that went to the page that set the home page thing. I have never been to any of these sites. Anyway, everytime I open IE now a new page comes up. So I started whois'ing the sites and see that they are owned by the same asshole! So I desided to tell him I didn't like how he forces me to load his lame ass sites with a mail bomb of 250,000 emails.. see how he likes going through all that mail.. told him next time I will bring his server to its knees. Funny, he took the code off of his sites. =)

I think that was one of the sites!!!! They were all little seach sites like that..

What a whore that guy is! At least give me some pr0n to look at!

I'm talking about per sign up sponsors that are putting it on their tours.

I dont really care if someone puts it up on their cj's.

Can anyone say how long the auto-homepage will work? I mean in a year's time what percentage of browser's would allow it to work after some people have downloaded new versions/security patches etc.

Are there sponsors now using this illegal code?

I'd love to know who would take a risk with a serious cash flow by putting on such a code.

I'd never post something like that in a public forum until I talked to the sponsor.

I just talked to them and I was mistaken, their code didnt do what I thought did.
