View Full Version : UCJ 1.3 and missing cjmembers
Anyone doing trades with www.danesex.com? (http://www.danesex.com?) Well, the server has been down for a couple of hours and when it came back up, my cjmembers was set to zero so I wasn't sending any hits back. It has been fixed now (thank you for the backups) and I'm sending out now.
But anyone know why the file went to zero? And how often it could happen?

Please, go and BUY a script you cheapskate.
Richard.
What kind of answer it that??? Tell me honestly why I should go out (as a newbie) and spend $1000-$2000 on a script, if I'm no good at this kind of business?
I see the free UCJ 1.3 as a "try-before-u-buy" kind of thing.
I can see that the general attitude on this board is "Be someone or don't speak at all!". Well, richard you were new to this business too once, think about it!

and I see UCJ 1.3 as a "SHIT" thing. Why don't you make some money with a non-script link site?
And about the attitude on this board, yup you're right, but who decides wether you are someone or not?
This "SHIT" script makes me enough money so that I (if I continue) can buy a decent script in about 1½-2 months. And I'm already doing nonscript trades as well on a non-cj site, but it takes a lot of time every day to maintain.
But to get back to my question, anyone know why the cjmember file is set to zero?

that shit thing does not only bring you money, but also TROUBLE. trouble to you, and to all sites trading with you. have fun
demoman,
would you care to explain the trouble I'll bring to my trading partners? Being a newbie, I haven't got a clue...?
Cali, I agree totally with Richard. That script is a waste of time. Not many people are going to trade with you anyways. I know that I don't trade with any free script sites. You act like this is the only option to make money on the net. Why don't you try free sites, tgps, toplists, etc.. And then when you have money, buy a script. It is not that hard to figure out.

because it will pay itself off twice+ over in the first month of using it, and you will get a quality piece of software.
Do you see any posts about bugs in Blindio on this board?
Richard.

UCJ 1.3 and UCJ-C Version III aren't in the same league.
UCJ 1.3 has never killed a database because of bugs, its a server problem that would have caused it. It may have been a once off hiccup at a critical moment or it may have been sustained server overloading which great increases the chance of something happening at the wrong moment.
UCJ-C Version III has been designed to function properly even in the event of server mishaps which quite often occur on shared hosting. There is always one turkey that'll use up every ounce of server resources which will hurt everyone else on the server.
No script on the market is totally impervious to server problems but what's important is how they recover from them. My opinion is that all of the top scripts on the market recover well from any problems they may encounter.
As far as scripts paying for themselves what I've found is that people who ummmed and errred about how expensive the scripts were don't often hesitate to buy multiple copies after only a short while of using them.
See guys, this is a reply I can USE FOR SOMETHING. Thanks Rimmer.
I too thought it might have something to do with an overloaded server, which actually is the case.
So, richard, ride and demoman, that wasn't so difficult was it?
