Anyone using pixmasters.com for content? I'm thinking about getting one of their bigger collections. It seems to be a good buy. Whats your opinion?

their pics are of very ugly people, and are lit pretty badly. a LOT of tgp's have turned down posting these. also i make better avs sales with more attractive photos - which these are not.

i got an "special deal" from pixmaster sometimes before.80$ for 7500 pics.
i cant use it...its really nothing usable.

First i would like to thank Will for the chat!

Now on to the ugly girl...YUP she is not a looker thats true! BUT Keep this in mind we try to show you upfront ALL models in a cd not just the good looking ones. How many of you have gotten a cd only to have ugly women on them or bad pics?

Second alot of our content is geared to niche webmasters those that do AVS, TGP and FREE sites. After all don't most of you want to get those upsells to those GREAT sponsors?

Third It seems that no one has mentioned our higher Quality yet same price CD's.

I have! From you guys, I bought your first CD for like $79 bucks. Very very bad quality images, I looked thru all of the images and it looked like there might be a total of 100 or 200 out of the 2500 or whatever it was I revieved, and with those I would have had to spend all day in photoshop. I said screw it and called it a loss.

I dont know mabey your images and quality have improved. But I know I will never buy from you again.

Having have bought a few of their CDs, I can say that the content IS usable.. It's generally production stills, and you will have to go through it cropping pics and deleting the fucked up ones. Some of the content sets I had to throw away entirely, but hell, for 79-99 bucks you can't go wrong.. I made a lot of amateur AVS sites with that content, and more than made my money back.. Remember, for some of us, it's not about quality, it's about quantity. ;&gt;

That said, if you can afford better content, it's less hassle to go web-legal or something and find their cheap content. But just starting out like I was, pixmasters was a lifesaver.

well,

Roscoe got ahold of me on ICQ and said he was willing to make things right with me since I was unhappy with the earlier stuff I purchased, so he uploaded a new cds worth of content to my server. I will still suggest staying away from the early cds, but after looking over some of the newer stuff it looks much better. Like Backov was saying Avs sites and tgps will list this newer stuff its considerably higher quality then thier previous stuff.

No mather what you think about the images Roscoe is a real nice guy to talk to. Helpful and giving great service. After he first read this thread he asked me if I wanted a refound for the content that I just order. Well, even if some of the images suck I'll go with Backov on the quantity over quality. =)

I have bought a mega set from pixmasters and even if some of the pics are trash a lot of is very usable.

I have gotten quite a few sign ups from galleries with pixmasters pics and at the bottom of the gallery put something like:

and http://www.femfightbound.com Two website that are doing QUITE well with MY photos! Point being, I am one of the photographers for pixmasters. I see a lot of bitching about the photo CD's here. First the college cheerleaders CD is not my work, BUT I have a few of the other CD's which are mine. My target is the amateur client, the person who likes everyday woman and situations. Because quite frankly I AM an amateur photographer. I am not trying to be anything that I am not, sorry, but I don't know ONE other content provider who is going to give you 5000 fresh NEW photos, good or bad for this price, I do the shoots daily, and this is NEW stuff, not passed around stuff like I see at most websites. There will always be good and bad photos, till you show me your work and how to do better, I am still gonna keep shooting, and trying to improve, soooo any comment and suggestion to help me provide the types of photos that will make you/your site more intrested will be greatly appreciated, good and bad critisism accepted. First of all look guys... I just got back from there and i looked around. I thought for the price you cant beat it man.. cmon 5000 pics for 200 bucks.. Its excellent filler content.. Its all basically niche amateur and the girl nextdoor stuff...

You guys want kick ass stuff like nicki nova your gonna pay.. you will pay 50 bucks for 60 pics....If you want high end then you use matrixcontent.com there stuff is awesome...But you need inbetween stuff too...

Too much high quality is going into tgps anyways and its fucking up paysites... Let the surfer look at ugly shit.. These damm surfers need to start paying......

I think pix master's is a good deal. They have a lot of good content.

Sorry for bringing up a old thread. But I realy want to say this. I fucked up when I ordered content and entered my old postal. I asked roscoe about the adress since I thought it took too long time to get the content. And yes, the postal was wrong. So he just offered to send the content again to the right adress.
