Why is it that the traffic sux so much lately?
When I first started if you had a outclick ratio at 110% you would grow fast. But not anymore.
I got a idea why. When I started there was no such thing as productivity tracking so people look at the sites they where trading with and monitored their sites/stats all the time.
Then the great thing such as "productivity" tracking came. Then sites started to get more and more dirty. People say hey it don't destroy the productivity, must be your layout because my other trade partners say I have a good productivity (they also added a few dirty tricks to keep alive) so the webmaster with the clean site thinks.... hmm I they can have some dirty tricks I can too. Then the sites just get more and more dirty. What happends? Now it is almost impossible to find trade partners that is not CJ sites because there is too many popups, layers or other "ni(c)ce" things.
The problem is now that it is too easy to run a CJ site. You don't need to monitor your site, you don't need to monitor your trade partners.
Then when the traffic drops they just change peoples ratio and hope it will help. Or mayby add a new console.
Another thing that also help a lot is the exit sponsors that is openning 3-6 consoles in a chain. But hey.... They do it because the traffic sucx more than ever before. why? because there is so much crap on the CJ sites now.
I belive the thing that is killing the CJ sites in the long run is the ability to track productivy of the sites you are trading with. But nobody wanna give up the productivity tracking because it is the "coolest" thing that ever happend to CJ sites because you don't need to keep and eye on your trades all the time.
The best thing would be if none of the new scripts would have productivity tracking. You can always catch a cheater if you check your site then you can see... this trade is very big suddently and my outclicks are dropping like hell... wonder why?
