CEN redirecting?

I just noticed that some of my trafficcashgold links are redirecting to

http://www.sexillustrated.com/cgi-bin/click-si.cgi?cenerror

e.g my url is
http://www.amateurgirls.com/cgi-bin/click-AG.cgi?26234

try and click it....

do they have problems?
this definately sucks big time!

as far as I can see only the "old" trafficcash.com style links are affected, while the new links like
http://www.asianpeaches.com/?wm_login=26234

seem to work fine.


Also their stats at trafficcashgold for the whole week say WE`RE SORRY etc.

Well, i feel CEN is a bit strange...
With their trafficcasgold, their design and program look really close to ARS... strange..

then their conversion ratio went really bad those days for me, like i got posted on the hun and i promoted cen program on them, over 600 uniques counted by their program (2 nd page click...) i converted 0...

i leave them now, they are lost of money for me

My guess, Richard, is .. it's not a sneaky move.

I have been very good friends with both owners of CEN since 1996 .. back when they only had 3 employees.

CEN is a huge operation now with a HUGE, Beautiful new South Florida facility employing over 50 employees.

With 50 fulltime employees, small little mistakes are bound to creep in. It's a function of size more than anything else.
A mistake in copying the new urls is made somewhere in passing the info from person A to person B to person C.

John and JoeE are two standup guys. They're not worried about operating like that.

Don't know about CEN but I can tell you that igallery is redirecting all non-US traffic to a dialer. Even if you definitely want to subscribe to any site of them with CC you simply can't if your browser has other than "en" as accepted languages or when you're surfing on an european ISP.

I've known JoeE and John since very early 1996, maybe late 1995. When I was first starting in the business and couldn't make my rent JoeE wired me $1000. From 1996-1998, they frequently threw $500-$1000 bonuses into many struggling webmasters checks.

I've visited CEN operations many times and have found them to be of the highest caliber.
They ABSOLUTELY take care of their employees. They bought cars and houses for some of their employees that were there over the past few years. I know of a few driving Porsches.

I travelled to the Adult Film Awards in Cannes, France as well as to Barcelona, Sp. as a guest of CEN's and had the greatest time.

I hold CEN with the highest regard, think they have one of the greatest webmaster programs on the planet and always have.

*I* make myself look bad? On what grounds.

These guys crushed most of their competition because they run a good, respectable, reliable program. Other companies come and go .. other companies go out of business, other companies pay checks late, but CEN pays on time, pays fairly, pays ontime, pays fairly, pays ontime, pays fairly.

If something doesn't convert for you, don't use it .. but if you can't convert CEN, there's something wrong with you.

1-954-563-9008, you can also email joee or myself.. Since we noticed this I now have the programmers fixing asap so it is not case sensitive. It is ridiculous to think we would be that short sighted to steal clicks and stupid for our business model. If you have any questions concerning Conversions, linkcodes, graphics, etc etc please let us know. We are only human and yes we do make some coding errors occasionally. Thanks

I just cut&pasted the links from somewhere at trafficcashgold.com the other day and just noticed over the weekend that my stats showed a "sorry" message. Than I tried some links I have done the day before and got redirected to the error page.

I thought it could be a cgi problem or an overdosed server.

I went thru your ad tools again today and couldnt find any links with capital letters.
So I do not know why this happened.

I have 'heard' stories of CEN doing some shady things... but I have never seen it. You're jumping to false conclusions and being irresponsible in posting them. I've been in this business since 1996, have a good reputation, and know many of the people in the industry. In 1998, my company (Platinum Net) had 14 employees. I believe this is one of the largest all-free adult operations there have been yet (I may be wrong). I then sold my entire operation to one of the top four players in the industry (no, it wasn't CEN). I know I didn't .. and I doubt anyone else did. It was some of the comments after that I thought needed to be replied to.

See, there have been a lot of fly by night companies come and go. Many of them utilized unsavory business tactics to get where they were going.

I've watched CEN since day one. It is run by "BigJB" and JoeE that posted above. They have a solid company with 50 employees. Yet, they would take the time themselves to post here, give their contact number, etc.

I don't know how many of you have run 50 employee companies, the most I've ever run was 14, and that was extremely taxing time-wise. Imagine having 50 employees and having a system implemented for making sure everyone has something to do, having meetings all day long, acquiring new companies, and the list goes on and on. Yet they took the time to post here. Why? Because they care about their image. They have a solid business model that involves having integrity.

I don't think anyone in this thread meant anything particularly bad (except Shap, who said my comments me look bad - and I take that as a personal affront). I have known these guys since day one and they have benefited the business tremendously. I don't think all of us realize what a debt is owed to companies like CEN, Max Cash, CyberErotica.

Our business prospered, in part, because of their companies. Having reliable fair sponsors is a really big deal. How many of us have sent $1000's (or 100's) of dollars to a sponsor only to have that sponsor disappear, not make a payment, or some other BS. For the past 5 years, because of companies like these, we have a safe place to go.
