Is free traffic easy to get? Am I better off simply paying for the “eyeballs” I need to make my site, service or offer more profitable? In this article we are going to take a quick look at some free traffic secrets, and learn how to re purpose your content in unique and interesting ways to get mountains of traffic to your offer. Sound good? Great…..read on below!
Okay… what do you mean by re purposing? Just re-using the same content you’ve created over and over again?
Yes and no. You can take an article, for example, that you’ve distributed to article directories for back links and traffic, loosely re-write it, add a “time sensitive” element and submit it as “news” to press release directories. You can turn the critical points of that same press release, and make it a short “list”, add a little bit of a controversial or comedic angle to it, and use it as link bait for your blog. You can take 10 articles that you’ve written, turn them into a PDF, and turn them into “viral agents” by giving them away and using them to promote an affiliate program of your own (or somebody else). You are truly only limited by your imagination, and the amount of creativity you apply to the process.
Does it end there? What’s the point of all that traffic anyway?
In my view? Recycle the traffic the very same way. Get them on a list first and foremost, and then “recycle” the people who join your list through the rest of your marketing funnel. Use auto responders to keep your readers engaged with your content, and keep creating intellectual islands of illumination (or more sites, services and offers) by re framing your content creatively, and extending your empire of related sites……all on the back of the above process. (it works… and we do it everyday ourselves, even with articles JUST like this one..:-)
