I know setting the homepage of someone that points to porn could expose little kids to porn and thats bad but what about using the script to push a non adult site??
Would people trading with me have a problem with that?? If so please speak up i have been considering adding the script to my sites.
its just illegal even if its porn or not
that's what i heard from many places

as I have said before....
This is NOT HACKING....
they are useing an existing activex control exactly in the maner it was designed to be used in. If they were using some kind of code to freak out the control to do something it was not suposed to do THAT WOULD be hacking
but they are not... microsoft distributed that activex control to be used by 'trusted' aplications? what the hell is that? something microsoft says is ok?
it was put there so webpages could execute commands on a users computer and run programs and use the system registry ect...
IT IS NOT HACKING...
and if the guys doing it would just put up a disclaimer none of you could say anything about it at all...
at the most all this is is imoral...
sorry to bust your bubbles but thats the facts jack... as they say...
yet another brief glimpse of reality brought to you by...

None of the browsers support setting the Homepage WITHOUT the users permission.
The only way setting the browsers Homepage without the users permission is by using security holes and THAT IS HACKING.
I will not trade with sites using this technique and besides this has been banned practice in the CJ2 rules for long.
Just my cents
