as it happens, i know there is a person who just turned 17 using this board. i believe it is not legal for us to talk with minors about some of the stuff involved in our business, but perhaps i am mistaken about this.

I believe the laws are different depending on where the minor lives, whether it's ok in his country to view it.

I don't know of any state in the US that would not have issues with it though.

I'm my opinion he/she should not be here until the legal age of consent where they access.

When I trade with someone or do anything regarding adult sites I always ask how old they are. It is surprising how many people under 18 there are with adult sites. I know one kid who claims that he has gotten a payment from a dialer company!

If I was under 18 I sure in the hell wouldn't be doing porn. I would be studying so I can get a good degree in college.

Actually in a say convience store a minor could work and sell xxx mags and smokes however they cannot smoke nor view the mags. How the actual age applys to this board is really up to the owners and moderators but no law i have ever seen says minors may not discuss adult related business issues.

I know 16 year old and even 15 yar old guys using this board. I dont have a problem with that unless they are not serious about this bussiness.

The problem is not how old you are, but how mature. Many webmasters appear as teenagers, it doesn't matter if they are 16 or 45, their inflated egos keep them from making common sense...

now, as to the legal aspects of trading with minors, if we give an advice to a underage webmaster, without knowing it, are we inducing a minor into porn?

I know a lot of people under 18 and I see them posting here.

But there are no porn pics and there is "some" that might be useful to other type of websites.
