I would like to know if they are profitable, since they have thousands of thumbs....so it may eat a lot of bandwith?

These sites and especially that one is HIGHLY profitable. Clement is getting 400-500 signups for his Adultbouncer archive/month which he is promoting with that site. That's 400x20$=8000$..... not SO much right? ....Now think about the rebills, most people are staying member at AB for at least 3-5 months others over 1 year. Each rebill another 10$. Might be that he's making over 30k$ right now this way.... -nice?

They are, I have spoken to the owner of AB, over the phone several times. Nice guy, but he told me his biggest site is p-bot if im not mistaked

do they buy the full scene movie content in one long file and then have to split it up themselves on the computer? Or do they buy full scene already in clips?

When i say full scene, i mean one scene...not a bunch of different 100k stuff.

Who's a good content provider for good full scene movies?

They usualy don't buy it... It's ripped from DVD's!
I know a dude that's doing that for a long time and he runs a paysite with those movie.
There aren't any good movie providers out there. Only one that looks good to me is intervids!

As Adultbouncer webmaster you can take a look at the ranking of all sites. Some chose not to apear there because they're frightened of sb. stealing their optimized design/advertising tricks when people see how good the site works. Anyway most of the biggest are listed there. P-bot has been 1st for a very long time but now dailymovies.tv is leading with signups. It's because Pbot started his own paysite (moo-movies.com) some weeks ago and is promoting AB less for that reason.

The problem with the adultbouncer movie sites - and I have a small one - is that 90% is ripped.

By promoting their AB archive as the #1 sponsor, they are setting themselves up for disaster.

When they get sued for copyright violations and possibly criminal RICO statutes, their money pipeline will be stopped immediately (in fact, right after a cease and desist judgement.)

Once that happens, they will have little to no income and have to pay an attorney to represent them. If they lose in court or settle out of court - they won't win - most likely they'll have to forfeit every dime they made off the copyrighted material.

Nothing like making $10000/month for 6 months and think you're rich then all of a sudden have your income stopped, forced to pay attorney fees and forfeit your previously made income.

It's playing with fire. Especially the sites that have ripped hundreds and hundreds of movies.

Not trying to accuse you for it, I don't care if you do have you content from dvd's, I only want to find some good movie content provider!

My content - all 9 divx avi downloads - is ripped.

Finding good video content is hard, no doubt.

Mine are ripped, therefore I put up a few videos I liked under AB for surfers. I have a hard time fathoming 500+ ripped videos with the income sent under my company or my name.

I'm really surprise many content providers haven't offered more movies. The more I look, the more i realize how hard good movies are to find. You get cds with a few clips, but nothing decent. Sucks actually.

Ripping dvds is just to risky imo. But someone must have a solution out there.

Have you seen ultrawired.com? (or ultrawiredsex.com..that might be it)

That site has tons of full movies mpegs. I wouldn't think they would risk there business on ripped dvds, so they must be getting there movies from somewhere.

Ripping dvd's in fully legal as long as you get permission from the publisher. Now that you mentioned it I am the sole video encoder for adultlegal.com and have recently received a bunch of dvd titles to rip.

i have looked into ripping dvds a lot

but i have a prob...for example, last week i ripped analyze this to test it, and i copied it, and encoded it, and what i did b4 i encoded was extracted the sound

then after it was in the divx format i reunited the sound, however the bloody sound was a few seconds off, do you know how i would fix this?

took my pc like 24 hours to encode the thing to divx, so...sucks that it was a waste of time cause i couldnt use my pc

it's only more space and people won't hear it's not there until they're offline and start watching, they probably already forgot where they got it from...

Sound is always good to have and with the mp3 codec it adds minimal size to the end product.

It is very common to loose audio/video sync.
especially if you tried compressing a file
to 24fps with a source of 29.97 fps. Assuming
that you are using virtual dub to join your
your files together you may have noticed an
audio/video interleaving options window. Here
you can delay of advance your audio track to sync. it up with the video.

mr mpeg , can you tell me what kind of movies are you ripping for them and how would you rip them?

(can you post titles of movies if possible, I'll try to find them in IMDB)

I currently received a box with about 30 or so titles. Some of them are mastered from
vhs tape and some from dv tape. The ones made
with an analog source will be tossed and the rest will be ripped into two formats. One
of these formats will likely be avi and the other perhaps wmv, but we have yet to decide. To better serve their current and future
client base I have elected to offer custom video encoding including but not limited to
avi, mpg, asf, wmv, rm, qt, and rm.
How I rip you ask?
With the usual dvd decoders found on the net.
Once you have the decoded vob files on your hdd you can use various programs to convert it to an avi file. With this you can then convert it to anything you want. My local network consists of 4 p4 machines hooked up to a 100 meg switch so encoding for me goes rather quickly.

Btw.... One more tip for you. After messing with the interleaving options in my post above try just encoding the first 2 or so mins of the video and see if you have corrected the sync problem. No need to encode the entire file only to find out your settings were off.

I am fully aware of who adult legal is because everything you see on their site, I own....I am also aware of Totally Tasteless Videos....If you have a license agreement for web use to their stuff, then great. You have nothing to worry about. I have checked these sites out and for some reason, I see movies from sweetloads, a few of the interracial sites and quite a few others. Now I know for a fact, they don't have the rights to use sweetloads content or the movies from Anabolic and Jake Steed. Also, my reference is with regards to anyone who does the following: You can't just buy a DVD, a vhs tape, from some Adult store either on the web or in your neighborhood corner and use it for web purposes without a license agreement that specifies you can use it to display on the internet.
