The original didn't say "king of terror".

The original text says "Du ciel viendra vn grand Roy d'effrayeur" So replace "king of terror" with "a person who likes to sorround himself with riches" and we are closer to the truth.

It also says (About the time) "L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois" which doesn't look like 9 months to me... Fool!

Don't believe everything the propaganda box (TV) tells you!
