Bad sales week, you too?

Hi,

This week I have 65% less sign ups. DO you have that too? If so any idea why it is? I mean my traffic is just 20% less.

Conversions are strong for us :)
most tgp traffic converts at 1:250 Raw to the front page.
the only difference we have seen so far is that an average order is for $35 when it is usually $40

Geesh, spammers take every oppertunity to promote their products.

I usually works to change banners now and then or try a different sponsor if your current sponsor seems to have lower conversions than before.

Just try different things ;)

i just checked my records for last year and the year before and this week is one of the worst of the year for signups

it gets better for some of next week

and than back to normal after New Years

so sit back and drink yourself into oblivion

or just do what i'm going to do

go to bed and wake up on January 3rd

What I am wondering is why people told me about the summer slowdown. I am doing much worse right now than I did in the summer. I mean conversions sucks, ratio sucks all sucks. But I will take a break until january and hope it wil be better at that time.

Well, it is always the same,

coversions suck because of summer slowdown, conversion suck because of thanksgiving, conversion suck because of WTC, conversions suck because of the war, conversions suck because of christmass .... etc etc

To me it looks like it is getting more and more difficult to make money in this business, and it will for sure continue like this.

The only cure is to work on your traffic, 20k uniques isnt what it was 2 years ago.

Hey Pinhead,

Which incredible good sponsor do you use ;)

If its 20,000 click-thru hits you send them you should at least see something converting 1:2000 or better.
But if it's exit traffic you're sending I wouldn't be too surprised if I wasn't getting any signups.

Changing sponsors might help too... Any niches you promote ? Better conversion.
