Design question

Hi all,

I just have a question regarding pay site design. There are mainly 2 kinds of design out there. One is only show the attractive pictures to you and tell you what they have inside (most of the sites using), but you really don't know what's inside in the member area.

Another one is showed you a lot of their member area content to you, you already know what you will get.

Which style of desing do you think it's more productive?

Um well honesty will retain the most rebills so if you tell them you have 1,000,000 pics and 50,000 videos you might get tons of signups but they will not stay long. I would use a ctual member stuff and try to be honest as possible to keep them around.

Your site has to look very exclusive. Don't put up 100.000 amateur pics but 5.000 and tell them that you shot them yourself. make up some stories and they'll stay with you.

You're content has to be exclusive to pull this off.

But most of the sites now usually, have some tour pages to guide the guest. But you won't know what's really inside in the member area.

Other sites might not have a tour pages, they just show what they have by categories to the guest. Guest can see what they wil get.

So which design style would you like more?
