CEN, Be VERY CAREFUL

Hi Guys me again. I'm not sure if any of you use CEN. If you do be very very careful.

Earlier tonight when I was checking my sponsors I came across something EXTREMELY disturbing.

I clicked on the CEN link and tried to go through the tour. Result? GATEWAY PAGE ERROR.
I tried to go to the signup page. GATEWAY PAGE ERROR.

Fine so I exit back to my site and BAM exit console with all of CEN ads on it. Now this is blatant theft of my traffic. CEN does not pay me for signups they get
from that exit traffic.

I don't know about any of you but this makes me wonder if CEN is trying to make some money off all of our traffic for a few hours without having to payout.
Because that is exactly what is happening.

most per signup places like maxcash, etc...
also, keep the 1-900 and check signups for themselves.

I'm not sure if you were trying to say they don't, but MaxCash does pay for check sign-ups.

Also I have seen a drematic drop in sign ups over the last few days which also makes me wonder.

Personally , I have some trouble with CEN too ,particularly with Truecelebs.com .
Since two weeks now ,I've seen my stats divided per two or more without explanations (same traffic ,refferers etc)

Most sponsors do not pay for web900 signups
but most do for check signup. Most CC processors dont cut checks for web900 till
after the members month is over, also abit
harder to track that person signing up
seeming he doesnt signup on the net but over
a phone.

BoR it always isn't how much the sponsor pays, it is how they convert. If the sponsor is paying 40.00 per signup but you convert a lot better with the sponsor that is paying 20.00 then you make more money. It is a numbers game. I have been using flashcash forever and their 20.00 a signup has made me tons more than sponsors that have paid me 30.00-40.00. Enjoy!

I , on the other hand, have been having good ratios since the beginning with hollywoodwhores.com

Reed I would chalk this up to "throttling" and they also have a habit of performing great until you adding links all over the fucking place.

there is a myth that our traffic is suddenly less productive because the sun is shining. What the fuck does temperature have to do with marketing and with getting a horny guy to whip out plastic.

Here is what I do to beat the summer blues... I change the god damn links. I am not a big fan of the guy, but Brad Shaw's sic cash is converting very well..... New York Whores is doing great for me.... Porn Mega Plex is one of the best programs out there. Flash Cash kicks ass. These guys are not "Fat Cats", they don't have a bajillion advertisers, and they all seem to have their shit together. And yes, Hollywood Whores is the celeb sponsor I use. I don't push a ton of hits there way, but I would rather use them than True Celebs.

HAHAH, CEN made me laugh so hard one time I almost peed my pants..

I had a site doing about 50k unique a day, and had CEN links up towards the middle of the page, with "beefy text" links that normally pull like mad....then had some banners & other crap at the bottom of the page pulling a few K off a day....GUESS what CEN was showing for hits sent???? like under 10 uniques a day...that's right, not 100, not 1k, but 1-fucking-0 LMAO....

I don't like to air dirty laundry in public most of the time, and don't like talking shit about other sponsors, I've heard great things about CEN from lots of people...but my personal experience was WAY different...anywaysssss

illegal.net is doing fine for me in regards to a celeb sponsor....

TheJimmy, I'm with ya 100%, hate to air dirty laundry, but check this...

I had CEN links up inside an AVS site I did for my wife about a year ago, had 6 clicks to CEN, and 2 signups on the first day of sending traffic to them..

Guess what they did, they terminated me because they said they were fraudulent sign-ups!
WTF??? is this not a pay per signup sponsor?
I send the traffic, you worry about the member!

Amen to that DK...I don't trust them as far as I could throw my Tahoe...

Seems as if they're not the only ones though...I had a bud that is a WAY honest webmistress....she had a few "approved text links" up for this one well known webmaster/click guy....she was cleaning up with tgp/movie & other traffic....so one day she gets an email asking her to remove that link! LOL....seems as if they have to pay out too much they'll change their TOS in a NY minute....

I know it all boils down to conversion on their side (as I'm sitting on that side now)...and as a result today I stear clear of click programs for the most part and just bone up on the art of straight sales...
