Summer Traffic BULLSHIT!!!!

I love it when people say "summer traffic
always drops traffic" and even myself I
used to say this.

But know, after 4 years of doing porn, I
find that not to be true at all.

My site(s) traffic hasnt droped one hit
(other than wetsmut but I cant think of why
chaning it over hurt like hell http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

But ALL our other sites are still going up
in traffic.

Our Paysites are still on there 250%+ increase monthly.

I still stand that its not summer traffic
its that mabey you need to change your
stuff around, get something new going,
think of a better way to send traffic
to sponsors and so on.

I can only drop a statement about my old warezsite (has nothign to do with cj but the theme matches i guess)

The hits drop actually 10% in the summer season according to different track systems.

I can look back at my stats on ST for last
year and never see a drop, or even a slow
down, or check my old CE stats and wont
see a drop in money.

To be honest last summer I got more traffic
that ever and more joins that ever.

This summer is starting to do the same for
us again.

traffic to my sites is way up (amazing what you can do when you work) - hits to sponsors are way up - yet some sposnors have pathetic sign up ratios right now.

so I started using different sponsors. This summer will be my best in 3+ years online. I think it has a lot to do with my total lack of patience and not accepting "theories", only going by what the numbers tell me. Only stats that really count are the ones that begin with $

your paysites sound pretty interesting. What niche are they? Or are they covering a few bases? Do you a date for opening up to advertisers?

Right now for the most part the advertising
is invite only or pre paid.

Reason for this is that we are so close to
having a new style webmaster program going
that should help everyone understand
traffic better which makes you convert better.

from a major CJ site to see if we have the
idea right - should be able to convert him

TheDoc I agree 150%. For too long people have bitched and moaned about summer traffic.

Personally I fell victim of this for 3 straight summers. But last summer was different. I thought to myself. FUCK THAT, it is time to make money. Result? 300% increase in revenues in june and I maintained it throughout the whole summer. For myself I was in university and summer was finally free time to work. Now it is different. I graduated in the winter so I'm always working :-)

I think the main problem that happens is people get lazy in the summer. They think oh sales are down because it is summer. Nothing I can do I'll go outside instead. WRONG! Sales are low because you are dragging your ass. Don't change your mentality because it is summer. In fact build up and prepare for the return to school in September. Your sites will be solid and when school roles around BAM sales and traffic should soar to new highs instead of come back to what they were pre-summer.


BTW Doc fuck man your program is converting like mad. I've got to say I tried it on one of my sites and tonight its going up on all of them :-) Thanks bro

Traffic is up 33.333% (ever notice how when
you work numbers it always comes out to
33.3333333333333333333333333333ETC%)

Jacked up isnt it.

oh sales are up also, largst month on
Max Cash around like 120sales off 2 stupid
banners. And our paysite sells just keep
climbing out the roof.
