With more and more engines going to paid listings, whats the future for porn sites? Just wondering what others feel about this. Personally I think it will make porn sites go deeper into a kind of a huge "porn ring" or CJ bypassing the engines, and that might not be so bad. If a surfer types in say pornsite.com or whatever, once he gets there, he can go on an endless road of porn sites where he has no need of the engines. Guess thats kinda how a CJ operates.
Opinions?

engines = search engines i guess...
they all start paid listings, which bypasses cj sites?
why is that? if people run a paysite they can also buy the traffic, but offcours they won't, same for tgp's, the traffic will go to big paysites.
freeloaders don't want the paysites so they just do some type-ins, which could be a cj, or tgp. if the surfer doesn't likes that site, he will click a link to another site, till he finds a site which he likes.
yes, that's how cj works!
but i don't think search engines with paid listings are visited as much as free ones, like google. so it won't be a huge difference...

That's the thing - as engines start picking up/showingmore and more paid listings, their search results become essentially worthless. It's like going to the library and instead of finding entries in an encyclopedia, you find a bunch of full-page magazine ads (which may or may not be about the subject you're researching).
In the meantime, make the system work for you; buy keywords and send 'em to a full page ad. Shit - you can even buy listings for your CJ site if it's worth it to you (There's never been an easier way to get a top-listing for a no content site. Which really illustrates how useless PPS engines are).
Point being: these engines don't effect the industry as a whole, and neither does anything else, really. People are always going to be looking for porn, and saavy webmasters will always be finding ways to exploit that.

you're assuming that all pay per click search engines allow irrelevant or content-free sites. overture doesn't. google will let you list anything, but they DO check. most of the ppc se's that have any traffic at all seem to check at some point.
so se's will always be much better. besides, aren't cj sites ALREADY a ring of sites?
