IE 5.5 - Intermitent hanging

Is it just me or is IE 5.5 causing the same prob with others?

Every now and then it just hangs and stops responding..sometimes it wakes up again and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it just crashes.

Really starting to piss me off

thats windows, :D everything hangs now and then.... yesterday i even got linux to crash completely on my home pc. i format about once a month due to hangs.... :((

This is a recent thing though. I've got just about every registry and windows cleaner there is and I've run them all.

My system is tweeked to the eyeballs to squeeze performance..but this IE 5.5 prob just won't go away :(

Thinking of switching to nutscrape just so I have a reliable platform.

If it's just me getting this I might have to reinstall windowz..erk :(

My IE 5.5 freezed every now and then, now using netscape 6.1 and no problems anymore.

Linux is crap, mp3s lag out... everything crashes!! Fuck dat, I run windows 2000 and it's stable as hell.. can run for a week with out restarting, bet you could even throw rocks at the case and it wouldn't crash...!
All I can say is a big PPPPFFFTTT to linux, as server os (unix, freebsd all that) that is mint, but as desktop os.. you got to be shitting me, linux works best if it just sits there and works.... once the user trys to do shit it all goes down hill... mp3 - lag, communicator - crash, I have used Redhat 6.2 and 7, Mandrake somting and it all comes down to one thing.. Linux BLOWS!

Also use Opera to surf not IE, alot faster and shit and dosn't clutter up the taskbar cause it has its own one.. kick ass!

I just recently upgraded to 5.5 and I have noticed an annoying problem
When you open a browser and hit the stop button it hangs for about 10 seconds before it becomes usable...damn annoying if you ask me, piece of shit f--ken browser.
As for nutscrape, haven't used it for a long time...if I remember rightly it was a f--ked up peice of shit too
