I got a CD burning second drive, I'll be happy when I can figure out how to make a compilations with out crazy noise skip scratching in the background.

maybe someone give you bad CD burner? or cheap one maybe? that i bet is your problem.

might wanna try recording at a lower speed like 2X....
anyone got a DVD-ROM copier? any they any good?

Try different software, such as Nero or cdrwin maybe

dude, get adaptec! nero seems a little pickier on my computer... adaptec is drop and drag!
