Whats the difference between a TGP1 and a TGP2 ?

Hmmm, you might want to do a search. There's a thread concerning every aspect of TGP2. TGP1 as you call it is the standard TGPs you see everywhere.

Check out these sites and when you are done you should have a good idea about what TGP1 are.

if I understand it correctly, TGP1 is a normal gallery, where clicking any thumbnail brings you to the larger photo.

TGP2 is about only allowing 5 thumbnails to bring you to the larger photos, and the rest of the thumbnails aren't clickable, theyre just thumbnails.

The idea is that if you give the surfer less porn (by only giving a few larger photos) they will want more porn and will be more likely to click your banner and visit your sponser.

TGP2 is a newish idea which I was originaly sceptical would take of I thought TGP2s would bleed traffic to TGP1s
As an adult webmasters though all you realy need to know is that there is some TGP2 traffic and the conversion rate is so much better you can probably even afford to use payed for hosting to host your galleries even if your not that experienced at converting traffic

A TGP2 would link the TGP2 galleries. A TGP1 would not. So, discussing the differences between the gallery styles is relevant.
