Best Laptop Around?

I got the DELL 8000 with 15 inch monitor, DVD and CDRW about 4 months ago and it kicks ass. It's thinner and lighter than other laptops in it's class.

xApster, we are not all as rich as you are. Price does matter. I got a HP 650 mhz P3, its not bad, never use it really, but its nice to have around.

One of the most important things of a laptop is its ability to run on its batteries... with Dell's that's only 2 hours, Vaio's have 4-6 hours....

Dell lasts for about 3.5 hours. My partner has an 8000 series.

IBM T-20 series is pretty good, but I do have to say the Sony's mentioned already have to be just about top o the line right now!
