Hi Guys,
I was wondering: is there a good way to measure bookmarks, i.e. either the amount of people that have bookmarked you or the amount of traffic coming from bookmarks?
Thanks!

i noticed that the /favicon.ico shows up in my stats even tho it doesnt exist. does this still show people are bookmarking?
and is this .ico file called only when new bookmarks are added, or each time someone with my page bookmarked visits the page again?

I think the only way to count it is on no http_referer traffic.
If you want to be a bit more creative, you could set a cookie once, if the user hits the site again, and has the cookie, you know they are a repeat surfer... http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
if you use hitbox it tells you how many times surfers have been to your site.
looks like this
First visit 78,239 68.12
From 2 to 4 visits 26,873 23.40
From 5 to 9 visits 7,213 6.28
From 10 to 24 visits 2,446 2.13
From 25 to 49 visits 77 0.07
those stats are for galleries today. so if its a site it would be quite different.
