Several weeks ago, GIB paid Sellyourcalls for ALL minutes up until
September 24th

Sellyourcalls will be paid for all non USA/Canadian minutes
for September 25th - 30th on November 15th.

GIB will pay all non USA/Canadian minutes for the entire month of October
will be paid on December 15th.

USA and Canadian minutes will be paid once GIB is paid from Verity
International (the company that did that controlled Madagascar termination)
That case is in court and there should be a ruling any day now.

all sponsors SHOULD pay when good business is done, and when the webmaster works with the sponsor... right? this is what we should do, both the webmaster hand in hand... to do good business..


if the sponsor cheats, well the webmaster will go away, and badmouth him... right??? that sounds fair, for the webmaster will expose what bad shit the sponsor does, so no one else gets flamed..

but it works the other way too... if a sponsor runs a good business and always pay everyone that plays by the rules, and all of a sudden a webmasters starts flaming on the boards, bad mouthing the sponsor, and in the end putting dirt on his reputation, well it's exactly as if a sponsor would fuck the webmaster, except it's the other way arround.

everyone knows that the first person to contact when there's problem is the sponsor itself... so if DI started doing some bad shit, or bad mouthing sellyourcalls, well it's in their right to retain the money owed to that man for cheating them in a way, for tarnishing their reputation..

it's called dommages et intérets here in french, can't find the right term in english... but by tarnishing one's reputation, you are fucking up with his biz, and in the end, reducing profits/business... hence, the right to hold the money owned..

if you have good business both way, there shouldn't be a problem..

one exemple of this... I had been using sextraveler for some time... then I stopped a bit, and reused it a bit before they got international dialers...

so I get my check, but it seemed a bit high, and I saw some international mins on it... so I thought it had auto-updated like some dialers can...

but recently, makr contacted me asking if I had used the dialer recently, I said no, just asome old galleries... well, there had been a mixup, and I got some other guy's minutes tracked on my dialer... I was honest to him, telling him it wasn't my minutes and all... I told him I could send him a check to cover what wasn't mine from what I had cashed, but he said no problem man, it's my fault.... so in the end, I could of fucked him up for some good money, but I didn't...

I came out clean, I came out with a bonus, and I came out with a good reputation to those guys....

Well I think based on the replies to my earlier post in this thread I need to clarify a few things:

I was and am merely stating that:

When there is a problem with a sponsor, that does not belong on any public board.

You either get some legal action going on, and report the sponsor to the proper authorities, or shut up and move on.

Either way it got no place on a public board.

BTW this works both ways so that goes for the sponsor in question too.

Specialy the sponsor needs to give the good example here, and making sombodies personal stat public is not good ethics, that should NEVER happen in my opinion.

I had this same agument with CEN webmasters once, they posted account info on my board, and what I replied there applies here too.

IF an affiliate breaks the rules, hurts your rep etc.... you take legal action. you DON'T turn it in to a media circus. It just looks very unprofessional to behave in the fashion displayed here.

Same goes for Di and the others, get a lawsuit together or shut the fuck up that's my opinion on it.

We all run businesses here not kindergartens so act like it!

I think these boards are to advise webmasters of good or bad people in the industry.

Sponsers are always good to webmasters when they pay you..but when they dont pay you, then shit hits the fan. So it works both ways.

I may be blind, but i didnt see which programs this guys owns...I would appreciate it if someone can enlighten me on these programs, cuz i sure will stay away from them. I can say what i want about a sponser or company, its my god given right to do so, and I dont want to deal with a company or advertiser that can drop me because of my right to excercise my freedom of speech. I am a true believer that the client is always right and that this sponser should have worked with his client other then slamming him...once again it works both ways.
