I would think this is normal, any host free or not has 404 pages set up, and when a bad url is entered it may cause 404. Webair even allows me to make kickass 404 pages for my sites so it doesnt "redirect" any 404 if not your own may result in redirection of the surfer, I dont think theyre pulling any shit.
