If you are running any type of traffic site (links, TGP, top lists, pic post) you would probably be better off updating every day.

you could always update your cj daily with a new layout. Regardless, if you don't update daily, your traffic will dip. <img border="0" alt="[Bounce]" title="" src="graemlins/bounce.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/ouch.gif" />
