UCJ-4????????

I just don't understand it. When I first started my movie cj2 I used CJPro (free version) and my site productivity was over 120%. My traffic grew really fast up to 10,000 uniques a day. The free script made it hard to grow past that, so I invested in UCJ-4. 3 months later, and my traffic is at 4500 raw!!! What the hell is wrong!!! This is a $1200 dollar script and it doesn't seem to work worth jack. Sometimes the traffic will go up to 10k but then it goes right back down! Is there something wrong with the script? Please help me, I have tryed everything I can think of and nothing works. I feel completely helpless and stupid. Now I am going to bed and hoping a miricle will happen over night. Please post anything helpful at all, I would really apretiate it. thanx

Also, after I asked them to take a look, my traffic started growing like crazy. I mean one hour I had 250 hits, and the next I had 600 abd the bext I had 800. Then about a day later or so, the traffic droped again and it won't go back up. Instead it keeps dropping. I don't know if they changed something and then changed it back, but I am stumped.

You can have a productivity on 50000% and still drop in traffic. Depends on how much you send to trades and how much you send to galleries.
Do you have content on your site?
What is your Trade IN / Total IN /Trade OUT?

No content, all traffic goes to trades. Didn't change anything since the cjpro script except I made the layout with better productivity.

why you don't put some real content? That generates more clicks and better productivity.

since you run a movie site, trade with movie sites. If you trade with regular pic sites, you productivity isn't going to be that great. Get trades going with the big movie sites like movie titan and ultra flix. Most of them require you to have content though, and no exit or dialer.

otherwise, just stick to trading with small movie sites that don't have as many rules.

I have about 30 trades with movie sites. I try to stick away from the others unless they have outstanding prod....That is already covered. and my old design had worse productivity.

Anyways, if you trade with movie titan, and the large sites with top lists, they all send you pretty productive traffic. Just a suggestion.

Well i used to use cjpro as well for my movie site, it hit about the same number and capped off, and when i couldn't send extra to new trades, ppl stopped trading with me. Basically i was forcing a few hits to the new trades, sacrificing some older ones to try to balance it out, well i dunno if the script had a 10K cap on it or something, but never went much higher than that, and it just died out. Productivity was still good.

I just notice that movie sites follow a different set of rules, maybe u should try having no popups at all...just a suggestion.

To find the right setting is very hard with ucj . and if you don't ask your parteners to trade in raw (ucj 4), they won't return all .
And you need to change your layout sometimes because it's unprodictive after a lot of people have seen it already .

I have the same problem. When i had CJpro (2.01) i had 10K within 3 days and a "stable" amount of traffic between 12K -15K a day.

I must say, that I too have had the same prob

I was doing 8k within 2 days of having my cjpro up.

However with Scorp II it took me much longer to get to that point.

I think the reason for this is that cjpro handles out traffic much better.

UCJ is written like crap. check your system dmesg. Hundreds of sig11 core dumps from this crap software.

wierd seeing that over 500+ plus use it..
not mention most of top 100 sites on sextracker has UCJ script on it

yeah, but i've seen all those core dumps as well. pretty much the only things that cause that are a) bad hardware or b) poor code. ucj may have good code in general, but there is something wrong with c.cgi. i'd love to get a look at the source so i could find it. save the servers some CPU/disk business by not having to handle core dumps. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif (yeah, there are other ways to do this, but the code still should be fixed)
