It's not bad, it certainly saves a lot of time in the long run. Doctor Dre is right though, it does take quite a bit of time to enable sites, collect recip code, etc.
All in all, it's probably worth the cash. Beats the hell out of doing things by hand, thats for sure http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

DK,
Are you using the new Windows based version, or the old server based version?
Thanks for all your comments.
I heard about tgsw a couple months ago, but figured the server version would be too much headache to set up.
The new desktop version looks more like something I can work with. Has anyone tried it yet?
Im using the server version, havent really had the time to take a look at the Windows version.

i love tgsw! it takes a long time to set up, but i now post well over 100 tgp's a day in a few minutes.
i am not using the pc version. i'm gonna wait on that for a while.
just be careful to check with tgp's for rules - i know some people who don't, and they got sooooooooo blacklisted!
good luck!

I find it rather amusing that he has now gone to the Windows based version. Wonder where he came up with that idea? Also, have heard of no one that has successfully implemented it.
Can't figure out why he didn't bother including the link info in it so you don't need to go to each TGP you want to submit to. Oh well.
He didnt include all that info in it because he wanted webmasters to personally go to each and every tgp and read the rules and download the recip button.
It was a major pain in the ass, but I wouldnt want to do it any other way.

Plus, after you've read the rules and grabbed the recip, you dont have to go back any more unless the tgp owner has updated his rules page.
Just put tgsw on cron job from then on, and sit back and relax.

DK,
Yeah, I guess you wouldn't want all that taken care of for you, would make it too easy I guess.
Still, wonder where he got the idea to make it Windows based, and why he did that. I mean, for so long I've been hearing what a bad idea that was, how server based was the way to go.

The windows version doesn't run too well, it's very hacked up code w/ an ugly gui slapped on top
Inde, i bought the cheap version and still didnt used it ...
if you nwanna make a deal like you add the rest for the full version . i'll install it and we'll run it together ... share the banners and make money ...

i bought the script.. and ran it successfully and then switched to the windows version which also runs great.
the gui basically looks like the cgi script does on my browser. i like the windows version better because i have better control over what graphics i want to use and when i want to use them.. all in all.. the windows version is great.

didn't you have this same hissy fit over at the netpond bulletin board like a month ago when you were arguing with some girl over site mogul? havn't you gotten over it yet? give it a rest... i used site mogul.. it sucked.. i used tgsw- i love it.
everyone has their own opinions.. you don't have to act so immature with your "i wonder where he got the idea from" bullshit.. i mean really.. i guess i could ask you guys where you got the idea to make site mogul a windows based program.. from bill gates???????
toodles
We just setup TGSW.. I have around 400 TGPs configured. It seems to work, its making traffic.. but I see a lot more of the little TGPs and not enough of the big ones listing the galleries.
Are any of the big TGPs blocking auto submitters?

nightangel,
you used SiteMogul? I don't think so.
and if you'll recall the dummy at netpond, while not knowing shit, was praising the server based over windows based, and in fact tgsw was still server based, so I guess we were right after all.
Doug,
Yes many big guys block TGSW, while there are claims to being work arounds, though I have no proof. SiteMogul had no such blocks, but a non-issue now.

yes i did use sitemogul
i could give you the name i had. in fact your on my icq.

the smart thing to do in using tgsw would be to use it for the 100's of small tgp's and then hand submit to the top tgp's. there's only 10 or so. it takes less than 30minutes to hand submit to these top tgp's.

Personally the main problem with me accepting TGSW or Sitemogul pages are
1. they submit several per day with the same fucking template.
2. they forget to upload their recip buttons; so, everyday I see galleries where none of the reciprocals work -- even sometimes they forget to upload their sponsor banners
3. instead of breaking their directories/series into the same size of what they are going to use on the gallery page. I get pages that have 10-13 images in a series, a 3-4 images of another series. And then the next day I see the rest of the pictures in the rest of the series. (very sloppy) OR my biggest pet peeve, I see for a week a girl do a slow strip
I personally think if someone takes the time to get a tgsw/sitemogul script together and have it work properly and professional. I cannot see a reason why anyone would not accept them.
BTW -- I have seen sitemogul banned from some tgp's as well as tgsw (reply to Wetdog)

hey, blacula! i use tgsw differently than most of your posters. i put in 12 pics in a series - just 12 - each day. then i hit submit - once.
i also make one description for each 12 pics, and make sure it describes them. every day. takes all of 10 minutes. how do you know enough about which pics will show up to describe 'em? so i take the ten minutes.
i don't load in 300 pics and put in 12 random descriptions and let the script run itself for a few weeks. i do like to save time, but i don't like to piss off tgp's or send out fucked up galleries.

And I repeat
"I personally think if someone takes the time to get a tgsw/sitemogul script together and have it work properly and professional. I cannot see a reason why anyone would not accept them."
I am personally seeing for every 1 person taking the time there are 15-20 out there that don't give a damn.
I want to say for the record that I personally don't have a problem with tgsw/sitemogul -- (shit, I tried to write a similiar script last year - MS Access Based) -- the problem I have is with lazy/careless webmasters trying to make a quick buck. And the same applies to the non-script tgp submitters also.
How many ways can you say "No Consoles" or "No Banner Exchanges"? I got to say 90% of the tgp sites out there have the same fucking rules -- Either they don't care or cannot read.
Sorry, to go off just getting a little sick of seeing the same old shit over and over every morning.

blackula,
I have my doubts that you in fact recognize a SiteMogul submission by the complaints you listed, for several reasons.
1. "they submit several per day" I monitored the use of Sitemogul and would know if it was used more than once a day. users were told of consequences of abuse and would surprised if you could show me an example of this happening (I know you can't, no need to try)
2. "they forget to upload their recip buttons" all recips are provided with install. maybe a couple users did this one time, but I never saw if they did, more likelihood of no sponsor, but only one person that I can think of that did it once or twice.
3. Pictures are assigned each gallery randomly, no slow strip teases and no pics in a specific order with the earlier versions of SiteMogul.
4. I doubt you have seen SiteMogul banned from anywhere as the sites submitted to were there by the request of the TGP owner. Now there are TGP's that state they don't allow auto submits, but they would not have requested to be in our submission pool. There are programs such as TGPM for example that blocked TGSW but requested coding from us that they could use to insure our submissions got through to their clients.
But as stated before, it is kind of a non-issue anymore, but just didn't want any misconceptions left hanging out there to sully our good name.
