gallery submitter that doesn't build galleries

i think you all missed one part of my topic - i DO NOT want it to build or mirror the galleries. i want to build my own pages, add my own recips. i only want it to submit.

thanks - is there anything out there that will submit WITHOUT adding its own recips or making its own galleries?

Basschick, how exactly will this work? Say you have one gallery manually cloned into a 100 pages with recips, you will have to enter a 100 different urls taking care that you enter proper urls into the proper TGP submission field, and then press submit. Is this what you want? Is yes, then such a beast definitely does not exist.

If however you want to submit one no recip gallery to TGPs not requiring recips, then several web based submitters exist that will submit your one url.

Well if I understand what your looking for I don't think this has been done.

If you create the pages and recips yourself how would the submittal program know which pages to submit to which tgp's.

You'd either need a program that you could provide with a list of urls and it would extract and anylyze thier contents trying to match up recips to tgp's so it would know where to submit (I haven't heard of this program. It would be a lot of work and the way TGSW does it is much simpler)

The other option would be that somehow the program would read your mind and just know where you put the pages and which recips are on which. (If you find THAT program let me know for sure ;)

Someone coule make a program that would take one url and submit it to a list of no recip tgp's but if you want to use recips I don't really see how this could be done reasonably without the program also generating the pages. (Otherwise it doesn't know where the pages are or what recips are on them. Trying to do this in the reverse order (Creating the pages then the program somehow figures it all out) sounds like a nightmare of programming)

I'd use TGSW if I were you. With the correct tweeking you can get it to create your pages however you want ;)

sonic - i've used tgsw for years.

no mind reading needed - one time only, you would input the info for each tgp form - name, number of pics (mine for mature are always 15), email, all that.

then you could either have the same tgp group for index1.html - say snakesworld, thumbzilla and persiankitty. so it would work by groups.

or each day you could select mirror each tgp went on with the click of a radio button.

there are limits with tgsw - not all that many, but some. besides, i like to tweak my galleries after i thumb 'em before i add recips.

You seem to be in need of my custom submitter which I'm not selling at the moment. It is the most wonderful thing since tgsw. If and when I decide to release it I'll let you know first!

Well maybe the solution is to have tgsw create and submit the pages then you just do some tweeking to them after they are created and submitted?

The problem with your idea is that it would be so much work (Aprox the same work that robert does to create and keep tgsw up to date) but SO similar to tgsw that it's almost not worth the effort to write it.

Someone may write this (Or is/has written it already). I wouldn't tackle it though. I try not to redo work someone else has already done since it seems like wasted effort.

Good luck though. Maybe someone has something like this ;) It's not impossible just would be a bit of work.

actually over the last few months, several people have contacted me looking for this. some of us like complete control over our galleries but don't love the submission process :-)

I think aws covers it all....
with aws you can design your own galleries...
then you use the duplicator to mirror recips, according to your set grouping
that takes seconds...
than to submit you simply press play :)

You definitely can do this with TGSW, the newest version.. I do it.. However, you have to comment out one line of code. In the older version you could fool it by putting in commented out IMAGEX tags.. But this way is easier. If anyone wants to know what line to comment out to get it to do it, let me know.

I don't know why Robert just doesn't make it an option..
