This has to be the funnest thing I have ever heard!!<br /><br />THIS IS PREMUIM NT HOSTING SPACE, NOT THE CHEAPER UNIX TYPE. USUALLY THIS TYPE OF HOSTING IS 2 - 3 TIMES THE COST OF UNIX HOSTING. WHY? BECAUSE IT IS MORE POWERFUL. MEANING YOUR PAGES LOAD FASTER AND YOU ARE ABLE TO HAVE MORE FEATURES.<br /><br />Whatever d00d!!

Heh, most hosting sites I goto charge more for Windows OS over Linux. Don't know the reasoning behind it, but they do. <img border="0" alt="[Bounce]" title="" src="graemlins/bounce.gif" />

Because NT Server is $999 for the OS for 1 machine!<br /><br />I can get RedHat for $0! And place it on ALL my servers! <br /><br />And guess what? I do! And I love it, best damn reliable server software out there IMHO!

My point was that they made the statment that NT is more powerful then a *NIX box.. which is garbage. All OS's have their pros and cons.. NT being unsecure as hell is the one that scares me far away from it.

Heh i usually have to think 12 times before i would consider allowing someone to host with NT..<br /><br />and why do they charge more, b/c its twenty times more support, 20 times more reboots, 20 times more problems. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />
