Hi,

I found a domain that already is expired on 21 march 2001. I want that domain too, but when I want to register it at worldnic he says the domain is not available. How can I get the domain? Anyone a idea?

Thanks,
Andre

It takes a little while for domains to be dropped from the database... I WISH it was a set time, but it never is.

Just a note: If the domain was registered thru Network Solutions and it's a good domain, the owner MUST renew it beofre expiration. Otherwise, they block it, and deny access to any operation with that domain. Once that "phamtom" time (I call it like that because nobody knows how much time is it) expires, they have another firm which registers the domain and then they sell it at another (high) price. If the domain you're looking for is a good one, then be sure they're doing this. And nobody tolds me, it happened to me! (btw, they didn't send those nifty letters letting me know about expiration, just in case)

On another hand, a shitty domain I had was renewed without any problem!

Thsi happened to me last week, and I'm with lawyers right now, so just to let you everybody know, be VERY CAREFUL!

Peace

If ya need a domain name tracked and retrieved. I can help you track it and get it back I do it alot for businesses in non adult and adult site areas.

I just barter for services and so on if i complete the deal.

I also run and manage http://www.dnclassifieds.com
