I am all for tim getting some advertising dollars...He provides a good fast service for us to communicate and he has enuf user base to provide alot of people to deal with :)

Go for it tim...

Make up the money for the time, money, and stuff you have put into AWI to make it was it is today :)

The banners sell at $1.000 a piece/month... Will make him some good money if he sells them all. ($10.000 a month :eek :)

After the last couple of years remaining banner free I've decided to add a single banner spot. I've had countless requests over the years to advertise on AWI and now I am opening it.

Why not targeted ads by forum

Keep those dialer ads where they belong "/Forums/Recycle Bin/Empty/"... ;)

Hopefully now advertisers who Spam the board will loose their ad views as a penalty.

i managed this forum for less...

but anyway, i'm not against it, he also needs some $ for it.

but it aint very fair i must admit that.
it would have been better if he would just add some stupid useless adds.

why not flash? GFY has flashbanners and you don't realise any difference on speed, but for sure I also don't like hardcore banners. They don't make any difference on adult webmasters,believe me! Just put the dollar sign and you'll get clicks!

I'll turn it back on so the banners are displayed once dialerking's banners are gone...So maybe next month I'll enable them so it displays :)

They are simple to stop lol (not just flash banners)

These boards have to suck up time and server resources. I'd much rather see a banner rotation instead of a monthly fee.

Is seeing one flash banner so offensive? C'mon, this isn't some dickhead's board - this is Tim. I'm amazed he didn't have ads up a year ago. Not even for his own programs.
