When I try to enter my site I recieve the following error:

Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (61)
Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established

Can someone tell me if this is a hosting problem or is something wrong with my script (traffic drive)?

My site is down for at least six hours now. Can't reach the support. Didn't know if they are working on it right now or not.

Anybody else on techiemedia with the same problem?
I think I have to put up permlinks now...

mysql has nothing to do with hosting... its a problem with your pages and/or scripts.

Sounds like a problem in your connection script.

Do you have mysqladmin installed or can you access your database on other pages?

mysqladmin=0
its the only mysqldatabase that I have.
none part of the script works right now, not in.php, out.php or admin.php. But the variables to access the database are ok.
should I download ssh or something?

Don't you have mysqladmin installed?
Mostly it is something like: http://www.domain/mysqladmin.php

This seems to be a problem on their server. Have they responded yet? Seems like their MySQL server is down.
