I racieved a spam mail a couple weeks back and advised the person or persons to remove me from their list. Apparently i was added to their new list after confirming my email address i take it. Anyhow today i got the third and i think final mail anouncing the big spammer program they have going.

I've had about 20 emails of that Master Spam CD in the last week.

I got that same CD shit but far less concern spam is spam but when it can affect my pocket and hurt people I do business with or my pals in this industry. That pisses me off a hell of alot more because all it does is start a chain reaction and runs across the board affecting everyone.

This guy promotes spamming and that entices another asshole to start a similar program. This affects sponsors that play fair and try to run a legit programs.

In turn the good guy looses money and it all falls over to the webmasters who then cant be paid. Then causes webmasters who need money to scam and run fake signups and cheat with another sponsor just to make a living. Its a revolving door that can only spin in one direction which hurts everyone involved in the long run. We must destroy such programs the minute they pop up or the message they carry could spread like a wild fire.

Let me tell you what do we do on our servers in order to eliminate or at least decrease spamming relay:
while such a mail arrives to our MX, it passes through out filtering system, which uses several technics, including regular expression matching of message content and determines if the message may be considered as a spam. This way we may reject the spam message with the proper error message, and since on the most mail servers, the returned message notification is sent to the postmaster, which is in most cases the administrator of the mailserver, which relays the spam, we include our complaint on the spam as the 550 error message, which in order to cause the sysadmin to pay attention starts with the line "This message was rejected by the mail server, since the sender is Fucking Asshole". This way in the best cases we receive the answer from the system administrator of the abusing network, and in other cases the spam is just rejected.

I tracked down his location in Rhode Island...or so I thought..but it's just a relay to forward a fax to the real location..which is in Nevada somewhere.

I really think it's a side interest of Network Solutions...wouldn't surprise me in the least..they're a dirty bunch of scammers the last couple of years.

Anyway...you won't be able to trace his ISP I don't think...I tried spam cop and all I got was more gibberish.

It works much better when the fishy see big bait on little hook then big hook with little bait. Why not send fax to lamer which = more info about lamer and since this is probably a scam involving credit card and fax machine = Federal Crime. Therefore you send email to Better Business Buearu, FBI, and maybe FTC.

Trust me when it comes to anything that invloves fraud and credit cards the FBI has a field day catching these fuckers. If you realize this same email hit just about every persona on AWI. That means they must have quite a large database with info on all of us and plenty of evidence to get them in serious shit if found.

I have a strong feeling after hearing so many AWI users got this shit it could very well be an AWI user. For their sake I hope not because if you hit my primary email addy by chance... You will be fucked by one of the biggest telco carriers in the US and they use no vasoline. They also have a great track record in handling scams like this one against their users.

I also got a mail send to me about one of my domains. The domain is pretty obscure, the only way to get it would be to WHOIS using NA DO on my name used to register.

It then spams to all the email addresses.

I have figured out the big CD mailer mystery however due to the fact of who is behind it and without the risk of it costing me big $$$ to prove im not up to posting it on the board. What I can say is it points to 3 major corps so far who are all tied into one huge agenda as I have found.

One of the key names used denies involvement but why would they admit it when they could have one of the biggest class action suits in history brought against them?

Anyway its a company or companies with many DBA's and more trademarks then I have ever seen any corporate entity hold.

Owned by a shitload of investor groups as it appears and has web sites across the board. Their flash web sites alone carry the smell of hugh $$$ so im not very keen on standing up to these guys solo.

If anyone willing to take a risk wants to get this info private or someone else wants to post it im willing to had it over privately. I suggest someone who can afford the legal fees if these guys decide to challenge you on a case of slander.

I spent hours cross referencing trademarks and domain whois and other data found on sites. I can say im 99.9% shure but it would take a lawyer and some cash and a 12 drive hour to carve it in stone.

The latest spam I received (I deleted it so I can't paste it here) was very convincing to being a bill. I use Network Solutions for some old domains I still own and I get this email about renewing my domain and they are advertising that they will offer a special for renewing early (only $20 vs. $35) and the way it was portrayed made it looks like it was the electronic invoice from Network Solutions. I almost paid it too!

Just thought you all should be aware of this since it almost fooled me.

Actually its a plot to get people to get billed then upon expire they dont renew you and you get fucked. After they fuck you they call it a system error and anyone with a brain will do a chargeback for this shit.
