ICQ GOING DOWN....IMPORTANT.

It seems that there is a ICQ hack out there that will end ICQ based business. What it seems to do, is let any user send messages under any number. So lets say if your friend in Europe had a deal going with you. Some other guy that wanted to fuck you up, would simply send you a message under his icq number. There is NO way to tell.

I have my self gotten a lot of messages like that from some asshole who wants to fuck me over. But this is pretty fucked up, seems ill be switching to the Mircosoft messager.

But hell...i hope they get around to fixing the problem, because from my point of you, this could be a SERIOUS problem.

Mabey nobody had any reason to target you before. I have been able to spoof emails and Icq messages for years. Its not that hard. Some icq versions allow people to take files right off of your computer. Like anything else, it has security problems. I would be more worried about other things this guy could do. Do you know how easy it is to put a trojan on a computer (even someone who has a lot of computer experience)??? Imagine if that guy had total access to your computer and what he could do with that info to fuck you over. If you think hard enough, you can accomplish anything.
