The U.S. is about to buy 3000 new Joint Strike Fighters. I hope we get the ones from Lockheed. Last thing I had heard until now about new-age fighers was the F22. Now look at this fuckin single-engine X-36! AND it's helping the stock market.

However, the F22 enters active service next year.

The decision means Lockheed-Martin will build 10 F-22s using fiscal 2001 funds and 13 in fiscal 2002. There are currently eight F-22s already flying.

Yea, the F-16 was/is one hell of a fighter, but it's pretty old. The newer Mig-29 flies circles around it... just there is no economy left in Russia to mass produce them.

The F-22 will easliy dominate anything flying for the next 20 years.

Even if they were going to the UK I doubt that the US would "give" them away. In 1940, when were the only cunts on earth fighting the Nazis, the States sold us 50 fucked out 1918 vintage destroyers, and it took Churchill months to secure that deal.

The JSF looks cool, but I wonder if it will be the last manned fighter?

and the best plane what about the F-15C Eagle its the best fighter aircraft of the US Air Force it's a close combat dogfigter that will beat any other plane with turns and clim rates its being used by Isreal and Japan aswell

f-15 is great military plane but i think it's fighter-bomber, not dogfighter
f-16 is dogfighter

same with mig-29/33 and su-27/31
