0:550 ratio

I have sent FlashCash site's 560 uniques so far this pay period and haven't generated one single sign up. Last pay period I only used some simple blind links and got 1:500 ratio. Any ideas on what I can do to improve?

When you juge a site, you must send over 20 000 hits to it to see the real conversion ratio ... It's just bad luck you didn't got a signup .

560 uniques is just so far this pay period with the unique program, I have tried all their other programs too aswell as used different banner and links to see what is best and still bad ratios.

Okay, well, wait on that. Depends on what niche you're doing.

If you are going to carve out some territory in seldom seen places...then the surfers can't expect a whole lot...as there just isn't a whole lot..of certain types of content..

But, if you are going more toward mainstream....hardcore, les..etc..then, you have to have so many pics they could never possibly look at them all. Lots of live feeds too..at least 30...more if you can get them! Videos...are really nice..but they are a huge pain..if you host them yourself...you need another huge hard drive just for that. And the bandwith is murder, you get some of the people zipping in at lunch from work on the T1's...and just watch your bandwith burn baby burn...

So, best bet...pay for the plug in video's...

1000 images with feeds would do if your site specialize in a specific niche. Also think about the price per month that you're going to charge your members.

PornoWill - first off, if those are 550 tgp hits, that isn't that high. if it's avs traffic, it's outrageous! perhaps changing banners or textlinks will help.

second, our best-recurring sponsor has a LOT of content - over 10,000 original and rarely seen pics, another 5-10,000 filler pics, several niched pieces of lease content, and they update with a FULL set (36+ pics) every other day. that is a very niche gay site.

we had a shemale site with over 7000 pics, a couple hundred shemale stories, shemale chat and 3 live shemale feeds and almost every shemale plugin known, plus some hardcore. it wasn't enough - i heard from members when they cancelled. they wanted original stuff.

if you're going to have original content, you can get away with less. i know which of our sponsors recur, and it's the ones with the most content or original content. sites with higher res pics also hold longer.

What are your thoughts of pay sites with very litle content BTW? I have visited many pay sites with those hacked passwords and most pay sites are *really* shitty! Most I have seen is 100 or so galleries, but that is rare.

You might not believe it but there are
some webmasters who put up fake "pay sites"
that seems to be "hacked" in order to be listed on password sites. Guess that kinda traffic also works eh?

On a different note, little content won't get any member to stay for long.

I have a hardcore amateur paysite with 4000 photos and an amateur foot fetish site with 1500 photos. That's not many photos, but both convert well and retain members. The first site has members who joined over two years.

If you have original content and up-date weekly, you should do ok.

Yep, original content rocks, but something else that is vital, is the navigation. I've seen sites with plugins that give you a fullsized 100k pic with each click, no thumbs.

I've also seen a site that splits a shoot into 5 sections, but does not link the 1st, with the 2nd, etc, you have to go back to the main page to find the links again.

Im not 100% up to speed with the latest paysites, buy does anyone employ some database driven stuff? It would be rocking to have a site where you have an "options" panel, where you specify the size of the pics you prefer, how many thumbs on one page of a gallery, what type of porn turns you on more (if its not too niche already) etc.

Something like that could work really really well, it is the way alot of mainstream portals are going - personalised.
