Hi all, I have tried to use htaccess to block out some software, such as FlashGet, Teleport Pro, and DA 5.0. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
Please check what's wrong with my code.
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.*Teleport-Pro.*$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.*DA.*$ [OR]

Especially, Flashget is spoofing as regular Mozilla, I can't get its actual browser digest at all.

Thank you!

John

Oh, and when they run cloaked as a regular browser, nothing much will help, aside from tracking your logs and seeing which IPs/sites are sucking all the files with a minimum of visits... then you block the fuckers
