This is from a TOP on one of my servers :D

554 processes: 539 sleeping, 15 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 93.8% user, 6.3% system, 0.0% nice, 756156.0% idle
Mem: 1029764K av, 474672K used, 555092K free, 0K shrd, 10044K buff
Swap: 530104K av, 0K used, 530104K free 97220K cached
Do I need to worry about this? :D

your load averages are *VERY* high dude but they are getting better

"load average: 25.66, 15.75, 12.43"
These figures are 1, 5, and 15 minutes ago you load average is clearly going up. Do you have any runaway processes or a script that is getting hammered on the box?

Getting better now :)
Yeah have a script that is getting pretty much hammered on that server and replaced the script file with one that was zend encoded. The server does not seem to like that :D It is below 10 again so I feel safe again :)

FYI You load average should always below zero
0.8 it nice something like that. If the load averages are high it means that there is a queue of jobs waiting for the CPU

Yes I know that. Although even though the high load the server did not load slow but on monday the server will also be replaced with a server configured like the "semi powerfull workstation" I posted in Snow's what computer to buy post :) should help a bit I think :)
