I have a problem with my videos(.mpegs) on my membersarea.
I use CCBILL for my CC-processing, and some of my customers complains that they are being promt for their password when they click on a link to a movie.
After they given the password, they get a 404.
But if they right click on the link the can download the movie and then see it....
Anybody else know of this problem and how to solve it ??

I think it is the way that you set the path. If the url is http://www.yoursite.com/memberes/video try
/members/video leave off the www.yoursite.com (http://www.yoursite.com)
I run a pay site and had the same problem and taht fixed it (: Just a thought!

Hi Shane
I allready tried to change the path between:
http://mysite.com/blabla/themovie.mpeg
and
blabla/themovie.mpeg
And nothing really helps......I get a lot of members thinking that my site does not work....And the sucks = no rebills...
My host talks about software that should fix this bug in IE, but I can't find any....

Sometimes what happends is .htacces only works when the full www.domain.com (http://www.domain.com) address is used (depending on server config).
If you try to login with a u/p on just domain.com/members (example..) then you will be forwarded to www.domain.com/members (http://www.domain.com/members) and reprompted. Sometimes this looks like things are not working.
Right clicking will force the browser to request the file relative to the URL that it thinks it is at. If you click, it will follow the HTML. It may be the case that you just don't have www. in your HTML.
Worth a shot anyway...
