you guys have some experiences in that?
I have few dusines of movies (div-x format) and I have subtitles for them - separate file but dunno how to make them work.
For example, I have Schreck on div-x, I tried playing with Media player (no subtitles), I tried a DVD player(Power DVD), I tried a hacked version of Power DVD (who let you browse for subtitle files separately) but cannot make it work. I tried "The Playa" and suddenly I did saw subtitles.
Then I tried more movies I had, on some I can see subtitles with Playa (Media Player 7 cannot see them) on some I can't. In cases I can see subtitles with Playa, there is no separate file *.sub or *.srt near the main *.avi file. So I guess subtitles are included in the file.
What I want to ask you:
What software/player I should use, software who can allow me browse my hard drive for those sub or srt files (playa don't have that option)? And what is the difference between sub and srt files - looks the same to me?
Another option: what software (or package) you can recomand me to work on those div-x files so I can add the subtitles on them, and any player who understand that div-x code (for ex. media player) can see the subtitles? (I mean to see subtitles as a part of the movie)

I find out some ftp servers who have inside movies, hacked software, mp3's, porn, stuff like this, but no subtitles ...
