If you need a good lawyer then the best thing for you to do would be find a international lawfirm in your area so you can talk to them face to face

Depends what you need a lawyer for. I used Steven Ashburn http://adultinternetlaw.com for a trademark dispute and I was very happy with the result. Im not to kosher with gov or legal proceedings as I was burned before by a lawyer who actually worked for the other side.

Make dam shure your lawyer has a proven track record of sorts before signing one single document or even advising him of who you plan on taking action against.

I know my lawyer was paid off by the corp. I was up against named recoton. Which happens to be a multi billion dollar international corp. who even owns many subsidiaries like pioneer.

The lawyer even had the nerve to advise me to settle a $14k case at $1k however taking a loss and to try and actually make something I ended up settling for $3k.

Which my lawyer again advised me to ask for less when the company was throwing up a $1k offer 1 day before court.

One last detail my lawyer was seeking $5k for his payment aside from my money which would have been $19k in total. However the thing was drawn up in a fashion that he got his $5k before I even got my $3k.

So make shure the layers money comes from your pocket and not a commission from the lawsuit money this keeps them in your favor.
