If you find an offer like that, they will force you to a dedicated as soon as you exceed a certain amount of traffic.

Page views is NOT the same as visitors. If you have 1 page with 20 thumbs it equals at least 21 page views and if the surfer looks at 10 pics you have 31 page views for 1 gallery page. That totals 2129 visitors. Not much for $120 a month.

Word of advise stay away from rapid hosts. I am on them now and moving....they are far from allowing unlimited bandwidth...I don't care what it says. (: I like unetics.net they have fair pricing. If you decide to go with them talk to Paul he is cooler then shit (:

a few month ago they had big server troubles. my site was down for 4 days...i mailed their support about 8 times - without getting a reply...i lost 30000 visitors that time...and a lot of money. and would you like to know what they offered me? they offered me 10% discount of my paying...that was 8 dollars...isn't that poor?

eythan almost immediately asked us to step up to our own server - we were posting galleries. that cost a lot more, but for a while it was worth it. than everything slowed down, and we moved on.

i have a good friend whose site disappeared a few times to be replaced by a gambling site. when he contacted eythan, his site was put back.

I also xxxwebhosting.com like Shovel. They're very reliable & unlike, shovel, I don't think that they're all that pricey. They don't offer unlimited bandwidth, but they're good to work with & I think they're pretty reasonable...
