We are STILL battling the dns thing and we put in for the change almost a week ago....... we are trying to change the owner of a site and have been for 3 1/2 months, it's still not changed over yet........ we have all signed their required papers twice now and nothing still has been done..... so watch them......... If I were you I'd register new domains on another planet....... you'll get better service. LOL

i don't know why you have so many problems..
okay, i only signed up there for 2 domains yet, but i never got any problems...
changing the dns took around 28-48 hours...

and registering the domain takes around 2 days...

i never got problems with them http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

perhaps i have had luck yet...

Tam

oh registering them is fine... they'll happily take your money.... just don't ever decide to give the domain away or sell it...... THAT is when we started having trouble....... I told them I was changing the registrar as soon as I got it, and they got shitty as hell with me. We have spent literally hours on hold... one lady from there even told me that the domain in question is not even registered...... DUH!!!!!!! I know better...... so I guess you are ok registering them, just don't ever try and change them.

TAM, i moved with my domains 2 times yet.
i currently have my 3rd dedicated server. and the dns changing took only 1-2 days.

it could be, in such a big enterprise, that some people have bad luck...

i know lots of people who haven't made bad experiences with them.

Took them a year to give me back a domain that got stolen from me, i spent over $300 in phone bills waiting on hold for their no good customer support. Then i had to fax them 40+ times, each time a new problem came about that was not explained to me while on the phone with their retarded tech support.

Plain out NetSol can fucking suck the corn from my ass!

Ron

Thank god there are other registrars.

And if ANYONE from Network Solutions is reading this, FUCK YOU CHUMP ASS!!!! I have had better service from a whore in an ally. You think you people are actually running a quality service? Think again. http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/smilies/thefinger.gif

I really don't care if they do read this board... I am NOT in the habit of giving people a public bashing, but we have jumped thru hoops for these guys to follow all rules and such....... and they STILL have done not one damn thing to help us....... So I hope they do read the board.

If they do then maybe they will take some lessons from people like Domain Name Systems..... I can go in and change anything I want to change......... they are the best in MY opinion. http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

When i tried to register they lost my account nr.
I couldnt register again and they couldnt find it. So it was easy for them. no domain name. Mail, mail and more mail. Everytime i got some standard paste and copy answers with their TOS and shit. Noone give me a personal reply. When i changed hosts they completely fucked up. They couldnt trace anything, I had to explain the story again and again to every person working there.
From my experience i can tell they suck big time. Except for Cihost is the most chaotic company i dealt with. Im about to move again and i am afraid for what will come.

Well i am all uptight about NetSol ATM cause i have been trying to edit the DNS on UltraVirgins.com, for some time. I've phoned them, MANY TIMES. And they reassure me that everything will be fine, i just have to reply with my registrant email.

Well guess what? I've done this OVER AND OVER about 10 times now. I even faxed them. This is bullshit, all i want to do is change hosts.

And if they don't like my public spanking. FUCK EM! I haven't been a loyal customer for 6 years for nuthing. I've had it with you people! I've spent many $100's on this company. And they can't even tell me what i need to know. They are a useless bunch of dingle-berry pig felchers!

And I thought it was just me having problems with them...hehe I have been waiting1 16 days to have info. for NIC handle changed. I dont ever remember it being this bad with them. Until now, its only taken no longer than 48hr's for changes in the last 4 years.

What the fuck is up with them now? I may be wrong, but it seem's since there are other options & places to register domains now their work load would be less.. Just a thought http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Tam
01-06-2001, 09:21 PM
It's because there are other options that they are being assholes.. they know as soon as we all catch on then we are flying their coop....... I told them point blank that I was moving mine as soon as they let it go........ they are rude, inconsistant and unprofessional........ and that pisses me off... we paid for it, it should be ours to do as we please.

The best thing to do is move the domain to directnic, that takes lessthan a week. Then you can easily change your info.
However if your email address is incorrect, then you are fucked. It took me over 2months 5faxes and 3 phone calls to get dumbblonds.com email changed

Jimbo
01-07-2001, 12:15 AM
yeah go where they have online domain modifications.... directnic.com does.... register.com does... everything is automatic all you have to do is wait till it resolves http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Shane - That sucks cause thats what I am needing to change. I had a dns change that took 10 or so days, but I have alrady been
waiting to change my e-mail addy for 16 or so days - One phone call, 2 faxs & looks liek I know what I will be doing first thing in the morning...hehe

Duke

Stransfer your domains to directnic.com just for 15$ and you could change your DNS more easy and quick!!!

battuss
01-09-2001, 07:56 PM
This is unbelievable.
I changed the DNS more then 2 days ago now.
I mailed them 6 times asking how much longer its gonna take and no reply at all.
And the bad thing is that my former host canceled my account with them as soon as they found out i was switching hosts.
Whats wrong with all these companies.

Jimbo

I think they should prepare to be eat instead.... if you know what I mean... they were one of the first in business and one of the last using new technologies... that means dead http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

It took them 3 weeks to do mine.... and after all of that time my info is still not changed when I do a whois.
At least the domain is pointing at the right direction somehow.

Because of NetSol.....and their promptness and pain in the ass forms.......and tracking numbers......and fantastic prompt customer Service........

I moved all domains to directnicc......Last Week......Guess What,,,,Signed , Sealed , Delivered........Transfer Complete......

SexClicks is much happier person now.....

I waited like 20 days to change me e-mail addy & after 3 phone calls, two fax's - I deceided to start the whole process over again and within 5 hours I had alreayd receovec the e-mail saying that all changes have been completed. I would suggest anyone that has been waiting a long time, to start the proces all over again. It worked for me anyways...

Best of luck http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
