Dan wich computer did you buy... Just don'T teel me its a Pentium 4 1.5GHZ, cause I saw the benchmarks and it seems to quite sucks compared to Athlon 1.2GHZ since nothing is optimized for SSE2. Plus its like twice the price.

yea, athlon 1.2 has been out for awhile i am pretty sure.

They say the this new chip (p4 from intel) is equivilent to the 120mhz chip on the old style - that shows how much speed they can gain with this new design.

nuh, just went to amd site, looks like 1.2 was released in Sep. or Oct. Not long ago.
My servers run on 1 gigs, fast like hell. Shouldn't be much difference with 1.2 I suppose

Duron seems to be best price/quality for home computer!

Athlon 1.2GHZ seems to be the best gamers comp.

P4 1.5 GHZ seems to be the best in MP3 and DIVx encryption.
