we should start up a squad with just adult webmasters i'm Stormloader in Df, if you've ever seen me i stopped playing for about a year....with the prophet II video card and not having upgraded to XP yet, it's just bullshit but before i got cable 2 years back, i learned to take out cable guys massively with my 7k connection. then when i got cable, they swore i was cheating lets do this

nah, i haven't played either of those games ya know, more money has been put into developing DF1 than all it's copycats plus DF1 is the oldest and one can't beat it's usage of system resources as soon as i head up to 2.3ghz, i'll check out some more games but i see those boxes, the screen shots...i dunno, man like using ebay or napster, one hasn't lived until playing DF1 the very finite different types of games there are to play within....i mean, there's a reason DF1 is the oldest every played online so, honestly, which do you guys think really holds a candle to DF1? i'll be honest, i have DF landwarrior and DF2, and they add all these more mountain ranges and blood spurting....but DF1 is just soooo real, especially with time/lag. can you build your own maps with these other games? from scratch even? [keeps an open mind] skool me

Counterstrike is ruling the online shooters for some years now. Havent seen DF though. I believe that Team Fortress 2 will rule the online shooters when it will finally be released!

ok, i'll try again tell me facets of the game please can you design your own custom maps from ground up? to what extent can the kepboard be remapped? how large of games can individuals host?

Counterstrike is originally a MOD of Half Life. So any talented level designer can design maps from scratch. Keyboard is fully customizable. There are thousands of free CS servers available. Player limit is around 20 usually. When it comes to tactic and teamplay nothing beats CS so far. Ghost Recon, I like it over DF. you have all the features plus it's more realistic, it involves some strategy as well (you command 3 teams towards several objectives) Can't wait to get the desert siege expansion pack... level editor is available, as well as several high quality mods for it, keyboard is fully remapable, etc, etc... get it if you haven't already <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="redface.gif" /> )

the graphics engine for delta force was paid for by the US government, it was developed to help train ground warriors.

i played DF1 for a year when it first came out.. was a great game but cs has been meh shit for 2yrs now. We all should play tonight, ill post a server.
