Is there any money to be made in tgp submitting?

I hear all the time about these people who get 50k or 90k/day to galleries by submitting to tgps. So are these guys actually making any substantial money or they just burnin up bandwidth?

Brandon. My personal experience is that when I was submitting 1 gallery a day with TGSW I had abt 35k hits. From this I got 1k clicks which converted into 1 signup. On my recurring sponsor I made 12$ with this sign up. So that's abt it. I dunno if it's good or bad. I'm a newbee in the TGP business so my galleries might suck. I dunno.

I make good money on tgp submissions took me a few months to get a good layour and tweak it up....But when you take into account bandwidth used and then calculate profit ..I make a pretty good income....

The money isn't made by mass submitting to tgps. The money is made with good gallery designs. Some people make kick ass galleries and submit to a handful of tgps and make more money than people who build shitty galleries and submit everywhere.

You are all selling the same product, so sell it better than anyone else.

I understand you are new to this thing they call tgping. I posted this earlier today on another board. This isn't directed to you as a personal attack but as a general statement : ))

Why anyone would use terra hosting is beyond me. Sure it is free and there is no headers or footers but lets say you use them for a year and you build 1-2 galleries per day. That is roughly 500+ galleries up on a host that can pull the rug from underneath you and there goes all your work.

Do you know how many signups you can be throwing away just from archived galleries? What about what is derived from these galleries like putting front ends on them and making them into sites for LL? What about AVS front ends?

So you think you are being wise and saving a few bucks up front but in the end when the hammer drops, all you are left with is a hanky and your tears. Just make sure if you are using terra.es hosting that you don't live on a floor higher than the first floor. Last time I checked no one can kill themselves jumping out of a 1 story building.

I would say that terra.es might be a decent but still risky short term solution to hosting but only to learn how to make an effective gallery. Once you are confident in your skills and your signups are consistent, by all means get on paid hosting. You should be able to create effective galleries after about 4 weeks providing you do your research and study what works and what doesn't work.

Have a plan and think of the pros and cons before you implement that plan.

If you don't mind, can you give me a ballpark estimate of how many signups/day a moderately successful tgp submitter makes?

I don't mean for that to be a stupid question but I have absolutely no idea the amount of money these guys make and i'd just like to get an idea of the potential in this line of work. As for the idiots who post useless replies; how about you take the dick out of your ass and go do something productive.

You can make lot's of money on TGP's but only if you know what you're dooing.... it's a lot like cooking.
you have to be a master to be a great cook...
put just a lilte more salt or put your dish in the oven for too long and you're burned

a money making gallery ingridients are :

hot content
fast server
creative marketing and design
converting sponsor
submissions

if you get al of those in the right proportion, then you can make lot's of money...
if you fuck up just one thing of the ingredients...
then the whole gallery is fucked

royaltee, it really doesn't mean a thing about the ratio... for instance, I was getting 1:40 at siccash, but it's second page clicks, while I was getting 1:300 somewhere else, but doing better...

when you start doing galleries,you need a good design,when you start to notice that your getting good clicks to your sponser,you have a design that works, if the sponers isn't converting switch sponsers , but keep the design, just go from there,you need good content and a good design to get them to go to the sponser,after that it's out your hands,so try a lot of different things,sometimes the things you think won't work, do.
