Listing on google

About 5 days ago, I was looking at my clickzs stats and see hits from google. I'm not complaining I just want to know how I got listed, because I know I haven't submitted to google directly, what other methods will get you on there?
I should come up as rank 1 for "moviepost listing"
I'm getting hits from few different domains of google.
Still don't know how I got on there, although I'd be confident of backtracking if no one can fill me in though; just interested :)

I did recently submit to this listing called adulteverything

also Hotbot or metacrawler

Ill try backtrack, and ill post exactly how it happened, ill do it with different meta and title so I know it's a resubmission and what I did affected it.

If you want to get listed in google, get your site added at dmoz.org and yahoo.com these two listings alone will improve your ranking 100%.

The spyder most likely picked up your page from a site that links to you. I used to get gallerys listed and I never submited any of them.

yep, that's how. that's how google works. if google spidered a few tgps and you had galleries there, that ups your score.

I've add all my pages spidered by google without EVER submitting to it. Some people asay it liked spidered pages better than submitted pages.
